(Threemonths later)
Life was never better.
"You gotta be kidding me! Are we gonna be late?!"
"Ivy,stop freaking out. It's gonna be okay." Taehyung's soft voice was trying to console my thumping heartbeat. We hurried into the large building, finding ourselves heading towards the registration counter. I didn't wait a minute to ask where the Byun Corp signing event washeld. The lady at the counter immediately gave us a quick answer and after a polite thanks, we continued our way to the elevator.
"What floor was it again, Tae Hyung?"
"11st floor, more like, rooftop."
"Rooftop?"I pressed the highest number available on the screen and the door ofthe elevator obeyed and closed. "Rich people just really like fancy places for simple events, right? Damn."
The guy beside me chuckled. "Since we both know that, I couldn't agreeless with you."
After a few minutes, the door reopened and we quickly step out to see an open view of the blue sky. My feet was embraced by a layer of soft, grass-like carpet which covered every part of the level. Balloons of different colours were everywhere, hanging from a flower pot, tied to a pole, and floating high above the tables. My jaws dropped to seethe fantastic view, but it was not for long because I remembered we came there for a reason.
"Tae Hyung-ah, where are they?" I said, searching for any sign of people on the rooftop. It was so weird, the fact that the signing event was here but no one could be seen in sight.
Just then, I felt Tae Hyung's palm tapping on my right shoulder. I turned and he shot me a cheeky smile as he pointed towards something. I followed his finger.
"Dear Ivy, do you like my surprise?"
I covered my mouth to find a guy standing at the edge of the level, holding a microphone.
"I'm sorry to cause you much trouble, but trust me it was worth the cause." The guy came over to me, taking every step slowly as hiseyes fixed on mine.
"Do you still remember our first meeting?"
I couldn't help but nod.
"Well, I never thought that the girl who fell onto my sofa would eventually, be the girl who made fell into her heart." He chuckled sheepishly." I know it sounds cheesy, but that is how I am with you."
I could feel my chest tightening when he stopped right in front of me.The man who didn't only stole my heart, but gave me the chance to get back up and forget the past.
"Ivy-ah,"This same man took one of my hand and without any warning, he knelt down.
"I know it's pretty typical to say it like everybody else, so I'll try to make it different for you." He shot me another one of his cute smiles. My heart was beating like crazy but all I could see that very moment was him.
