Xavier sat there wide awake on his Xbox, and I was surprised he'd been playing for hours and showed no signs of tiredness.
"Xavier"
"Yeah mama" He stated sipping on his juice box.
"I think it's time fa' a break"
"Mama! No I have to defeat this level"
I shook my head, "no, you said that thirty minutes ago it's 10 PM and you're still playing this game"
"It's astonishing"
I frowned, "and what does astonishing mean?" I asked
"Astonishing is when you can't stop"
My frowned depended, and then I laughed "you mean addicting?"
"Yea that's what I meant a... Whatever"
"Can you say it"
He laughed "No"
"Why?"
"Cause... It has a funny word in it" He laughed harder
And I frowned a-ddic-ting.
"Xavier you are so childish" he smiled
"Well of course I am, I'm a child"

"I know what you're doing" I walked over to the Xbox and shut it off.
"Hey! Look what you did!" He yelled getting upset
"You need to take a break"
He sucked his teeth at me and walked away. He could get mad all he want I could care less, he should be thankful that he had a mama who cared about him.
The door opened and Royalty appeared.
"Heyyy Royalty!" I yelled giving her a hug
"Heyy mama"
"How are you??"
"I'm good a luh tired"
"Aweee I feel like I haven't seen you in years" she laughed at me then broke away from the hug.
"Where's Xavier?"
"In his room"
She nodded making her way over there. Chris appeared holding her bag. He closed the door ending his phone call.
"Hey bay-bee" I said pecking his lips.
"Are you hungry?" I asked
"Yes !!"
I walked over to the kitchen getting two bowls out. I rinsed them, then started putting spaghetti inside.
"You cooked" he asked wrapping his arms around my waist.
I nodded, "yeah"
I handed him the bowl, and he hopped on the counter, and began devouring it.
"Chris slow down the food isn't going anywhere" he chuckled still eating at the same pace
I stood between his legs and wiped some spaghetti off his face.
