I don't know if it was me but I was nervous as hell. It feels like Trinity and I united 40 minutes ago. Now I gotta know she's probably pregnant. This was my best friend! She can't be pregnant her freaking life will go all the way down! I went to the store right when she told me. All I had was crazy thoughts in my mind. What if Eddie doesn't want the baby... what if Trinity ends up wanting to keep the baby but doesn't tell Eddie? We were now parked right in front of the store. I could feel my lungs clog up cause I was having trouble breathing.
Breath Kim. Breath. Don't cry, just breath.
Once I was able to put myself together I looked at Walmart. Then lifted my hoodie up. I walked in with the rain pouring. I went directly to the aisle and yanked the two tests boxes with my hands shaking.
I walked all the way to the line thinking real hard again. I was breathing in and out trying to calm myself down. Uhhh what if her daddy kicks her out? Where will she go then? Oh my gosh. I can't. I can't. I can't be thinking about this.
"Ma'am" the lady who worked the cashier hollered
I panicked jumping. The test flew out my hand and I quickly went down grabbing one. I got out of line.. which wasn't really a line since I was the only one in it. I was ready to get the other one when a pair of feet stood towards the box. I grabbed it standing. I didn't even make contact with him. I just slid the test on the machine that allowed the cashier to check the items.
"$8.59" She said
I gave her a ten just to be handed 78 cents.
"Would you like to be put in a group for teenagers your age that are soon to be mothers? It allows you to get discounts on baby necessities. In the class you'll learn how to care for your baby...."
She went on and I could feel everyone looking causing me to panicked.
"No. No thank you"
"Alright, have a nice day" She stated in a plain, miserable tone.
I yanked the bag then walked right out the Walmart.
"Kim!" I specifically ignored him.
I ran towards the car and hopped in immediately. I locked the doors and started the car up. I waited a few seconds then once I noticed that I needed to get going I sped off.

"Ight Trinity pee on the sticks then wait a few minutes. "
She nodded.
"Good luck" I said
She walked away then after ten minutes she came into the room with the two sticks.
"So...?" She looked at me, "it didn't say anything yet."
I sighed, we waited a minute then looked at the sticks.
2 lines on both.
She cried for a good 35 minutes! I felt terrible I tried my best to comfort her but I knew that could only do so much.
There was a knock on my door and I quickly made trinity hide the stuff and pretended she was sleeping.
"Hey baybee"
"Hi mama "
"Yall having fun?"
"Yes we are" I said smiling
"Oh well, I just wanted to tell you August is picking you and Tyla up at 6 "
I nodded, "ok"
