Chapter 76
Kim.
I got off the shower, and listened to my inner thoughts. It felt awkward being home after being in the hospital for three days. I put on leggings and an oversized sweater. Chris and Mama have been acting extra nice and it's annoying. They're nice parents but it's not what I want to be submerged with just cause of what happened to me. I still don't even know what happened to me. I know I should've told the doctor that I couldn't remember much but I didn't. All he knew was that I had some head aches and he suggested that I'd take a pain killer. So I did. He was suppose to tell my parents but I don't think he ever got to it. You know with everything that went down. I walked downstairs with black moccasins on my feet.
"Kim" the boy said running to me
"Hi" , the other girl ran up to me hugging me as well
"Tyla, Xavier yall tryna suffocate her?"
I frowned. I liked being hugged. I didn't mind. They let go of me. Then Jesus appeared giving me a hug. He pulled away then I seen my grandparents hugging me. Last but not least my uncle DK hugged me along with Stacy.
"You feelin' better?" I nodded
I don't understand how I was able to remember everyone else's names but Tyla and Xavier's. Maybe it was cause I didn't try thinking about it.
"C'mon to the kitchen." I walked down and right when I was about to enter the living room a vision entered my mind.
I winced in pain as my head felt numb. I was going to take a seat as I turned around when I felt my whole body become numb. Right when my head was about to hit the floor...
I jumped and everyone looked at me.
"Kim what's wrong?" My mama quickly said
I looked at her, then I looked at everyone else who had concerned looks in their eyes. I looked at the floor backing away. It was like I was looking at myself on the floor.
"What?"
Everyone shook their head, "Nothing" a few of them said
"C'mon, baybee let's go around" my mama walked around to the kitchen with me and I noticed the three boxes of pizza that sat on the counter.
"Surprise!!"
I smiled, "thanks"
"Don't thank me, grandpa got it for you"
"Thanks grandpa" he kissed my forehead
"No problem"
"Everyone grab a plate and start eating"
I took a plate for myself grabbing just one slice.
"That's all you're taking?" My grandmama asked
"Kim, get another slice." My grandpa said
I didn't want to let him down so I grabbed another one. I honestly didn't even have an appetite. I watched as everyone walked in the living room sitting down eating. Xavier noticed me sitting by myself in the kitchen eating so he came over to me.
"Why are you sitting alone?"
"No reason"
"Can I sit with you"
I nodded, "yeah"
He came on the stool and began having a full conversation with me. During the middle of the conversation he let out a big ol burp.
