" I don't think it's fair!" Arielle complained as I stayed up and waited for the time to tic.
I sat in the kitchen with her drinking our hot chocolate. I was silent. She was silent. No one spoke, instead the both of us waited.
"We should go shouldn't we." I stated
She nodded, "Definitely."
"Go change outta your clothes quickly."
"Okay!" She exclaimed in excitement running all the way to her room.
I know August said not to come until he calls but this is Arielle's little sister she has to come. I grabbed my uggs, and put on a random cardigan.
"Arielle are you done?" I yelled
"Yeah I'm coming"
She ran down the stairs in black skinny jeans, black timberlands, and a black sweater.
"Why all black?"
"Cause I'm black"
I asked no further questions. Before we headed to the hospital we made a few stops.
Keyanna
I hummed my way to the shower making sure I washed up before we left. After I finished I slipped on my robe and began applying make up.
"Keyanna you about to have a bay-bee and you puttin' make up on?" Chris questioned
"Chris you need to look good when your giving birth, you can't just show up looking dry, and crusty." I stated
"What type of person does this ? Ya' cord is litterly hanging down and all you can think about is looking good?"
I nodded, "Yes Christopher"
He shook his head. I understand why he'd probably be mad at me, I mean look at me if I were in his shoes I'd be freaking out.
I applied lotion around my stomach then put my dress on from sorrella boutiques. I slid my slippers on and walked out.
"I'm ready" I said
"Finally"
I rolled my eyes and held his hands as we walked to the car. When we were inside I buckled my seatbelt and waited for Chris to come in.
"Oh my gosh Chris"
"Next time we walk into the house imma be a mother of two" I smiled with excitement
"I know, you ready to go?" I nodded
"Chris that thing you saw hanging"
"Yeah the umbilical cord"
I shook my head, "yeah it wasn't the umbilical cord it was just my robe I think I got excited and just thought that it was"
He shook his head, "its ight "
While he sped to the hospital many things finally started playing in my mind.
"Chris I'm early!" I exclaimed
"What if something's wrong with her?" I asked now feeling my stomach
"Keyanna relax everything's gonna be alright you just need to calm down"
Right then and there is where I felt sharp kicks starting to come.
"Ah" I yelled lightly
"What's wrong!?" He questioned looking back and forth at me and then the road.
