I was laid out on the couch with her sitting besides me.
"Life just difficult"
"August please tell me you ain't lettin' the devil control you wit' all deeze' thoughts. I specifically tol' you to go to church and just pray, God will be thea' , he'll listen"
"I do pray"
"Prayin' only solve small things, goin' to church is more rich" I sighed "Why KayKay in town, ChaCha neva' tol me about ha' coming dis' early" She questioned
"That's a long story, MawMaw"
"I have time" She said
"Ight" I laughed, "Ion know what's goin' into Kim lately, but a month or two ago? I think. Kim left my house and ain't come back till two days later " I was expecting a reaction out of her but she was quiet

"She comes home with KayKay with her and that was like when her whole attitude changes, and I have a feeling I know why. "
"Does Keyanna know about her acting this way?"
I nodded, "she knows"
"Yeah, but listen, I think it's cause she been hanging around this boy named Jamal."
"Arielle has a boyfriend?"
"Not anymore."
"Well what happened ?"
"Well truth is she did have a boyfriend, we didn't find out until we were done with her 'ways'. We had dinner wit' her and that ol' Jamal boy"

"Keyanna, Chris, and I"
She nodded
"We found out he ain't what I thought he was"
"And whatchu' think he was?"
"Some boy who disrespectful, and only wit' her for sex"

"No not daughter, sista', sorry"
She hit me, "don't scare me like dat"
"Anyway yeah his parents passed, but yeah his sister his priority--"
"Then why he with Arielle?"
"Ion know, but he did reveal that before he met Kim he slept wit' a lotta girls, and that he smoked, and drink"

I ignored her comment, "long story short, kim dated Jamal and then they broke up since she found him kissing some other girl and last night she went to another party without me knowing, and I decided to call DK, Keyanna, and Chris over to just hang out and this is when she strolls in the house with Kayden at 4 AM this morning drunk! Both of them were both drunk and were spitting out nonsense"
"What were they saying?"
"Kim was saying to Kayden Oh can yall believe KayKay slept with a random last night and blah blah blah "
