I do not own Teen Wolf-

Chapter Three.

Sitting on the porch swing on front porch, the breeze felt nice against my skin. It seemes as if the teachers had given us a pile of never ending homework. I was so busy that I didn't even realize my dad come out and sit next to me, handing me a glass of iced coffee. He smiled as he messed up there on top of my head.

"How was school?" he asked.

"It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be." I shrugged my shoulders, "I guess I have a beautiful name though." I laughed.

"Yeah, okay." he laughed, "Who told you that?"

I gave him a look, "I got that a lot today actually."

"Oh, I'm sure you did." he smiled, grabbing the piece of homework out of me hands,  "Math is not my strong spot." he said tossing it back in my lap.

"That makes two of us." I chuckled.

I didn't really anything else that he said, because at that moment Stiles and Scott walked by. Again they were heading for the woods. Stiles didn't notice me until Scott nudged him, gesturing in my direction. He waved, as a shade of pink crept across his face. I bit my lip, and forced myself to wave back. I tried to look busy, and caught up in my homework. That was until my dad reached across me and waved as well. I placed my head in my hand, trying to push him back. I gave him a stern look, trying not to laugh.

"Dad, why?!" I finally began to laugh.

"If he likes you, he better know who he's dealing with." he winked, walking inside.

Stiles like me? Yeah right, I could only wish for that. Curiosity got the best of me, as I found myself getting up and looking in the direction that the boys had just walked in. I tried to stay hidden as Stiles looked back every so often. He would just smile, and bite his lip. As they walked into the woods, I went back to doing my homework. My plan was, to stay there until they got back.

After an hour had passed, and they hadn't returned I gave up. I gathered all of my papers and began walking inside. I threw them all in my backpack once I got upstairs. I picked my phone up and dialed Emily's number.

"Hey!" she answered on the second ring.

"What's up Em?" I layed down on my bed.

"Just getting home from school." I heard her front door shut, "Speaking of which, how was your first day?"

"Actually, it went great." I smiled.

"Hot boys? Cool girls? Come on fill me in." I could only see her jumping with excitement right now.

"Eh, I didn't really meet a lot of people. But there was this one-"

"Samantha!" I heard my dad call.

"Hold on." I said getting up, walking down the stairs.

When I walked around the corner I was greeted my a familiar face. A buzz cut, smiling, cutie standing in my door way. I could see him fidgeting as my father eyed him uop and down. I walked down the hall, stepping between my dad and the door to relieve the tension.

"I'll call you right back Em." i said, hanging the phone up.

I looked at my dad, letting him know that it was okay for himn to leave now. I shut the front door and walked over to sit on the porch swing, patting on the seat next to me gesturing for him to sit there. He took two steps, and landed right next to me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, pulling a piece of my bangs out of my face.

"Well, because you're new here I was wondering if you'd like to go to this party." he paused, "With me.." he looked down.

"Yeah, that'd be cool." I bit my lip.

"Really?" he looked up at me, smiling, "I mean what time should I pick you up?"

"Well when is it?" I asked.

"On Friday, would that be okay?" he asked.

"Yeah." I said nodding my head.

"So about the time?" he asked.

"Oh, whenever is fine." I took a deep breathe, "You can just text me, I mean if you  want?"

"Uh, yeah I could do that." his eyes fluttered around.

I held out my hand, waiting for him to place his phone in it. When he did, I made my contact and handed it back to him.

"Well, I should probably be leaving. I'll see you tomorrow." he said, walking towards the steps.

"Wait, Stiles." I called for him.

"Yeah?" he said turning around, as he raised one eyebrow.

"I am really sorry about how Jackson treated you." I apologized, remembering his remark from earlier.

"Oh that?" he laughed, "That's the Jackson that I'm used to." he shrugged his shoulders.

"Well, it wasn't right of him to say that." I said, grabbing my arm.

He came back over, and sat down beside me. I couldn't help but smile, because I didn't want him to leave.

"Jackson is just Jackson and that's how he treats people. Well boys anyway, I've never seen him disrespect a girl before."

"Well, that's better than disrespecting everyone." I shrugged.

"You have a point there." he chuckled, "So what about you where are you from?" he asked.

"New York." I nodded my head, chuckling my head at his reaction.

He raised his eyebrows, and opened his mouth as if he were going to say something but nothing came out. He just shook his head, causing me to laugh even more.

"You're kidding right?" he asked.

"Yeah no." I shook my head, "It's really just like here." I shrugged my shoulders.

"Yeah, right. I'd give anything to go there." he chuckled.

"I think you'd be in for a surprise when you find out that it's the same as here." I laughed, "But anyways, what about you? Are you some serial killer, I mean what should I be expecting?"

"Serial killer? Um, I think my dad would kill me considering he is the sherriff." he laughed, "But no, I'm really just your average every day guy at Beacon Hills. But I'm cooler." he smiled.

  And cuter, I thought quietly.

"You seem so sure!" I laughed.

"Oh, I'm sure. I'm probably the coolest guy you'll meet here, just giving you a heads up." he threw back at me with a smile.

"Well, thanks for that. If you wouldn't have told me I never would have known." I looked at him.

"One date and you would have been able to guess." he bit his lip.

"Date?" I bit my lip as well.
