I do not own Teen Wolf-

Chapter Fourteen.

*Samantha's POV*

I didn't say anything the whole ride to the hospital when Asher came to get me. I fixed my make-up from where it had smudged, and took a deep breath as we pulled in the parking lot. I got out and slowly walked toward the entrance, Stiles' words were pounding in my head.

"We're here to see Jackson Whittemore." my brother told the clerk at the desk.

"Room 217." she smiled.

We walked down the hall and got in the elevator, pressing the button labeled 2 and waiting to get there. Asher opened his mouth as if he were going to say something, but quickly shut it and looked away from me. He could tell that I didn't want to talk, and I didn't, I just wanted to see Jackson and go home just to climb back in bed and cry.

We finally found room 217, and I walked in behind Asher. His face lit up a little at the sight of me, I walked to him setting my head on his arm. I didn't even look at him, I couldn't look at him. I just stood there while he talked to Asher.

"So what did coach say?" Jackson asked, propping his body upward.

"He said that Stiles would fill in for you but then Stiles just took off and no one knows where he went." Asher shrugged his shoulders.

I did, he came to break my heart. That's where he went.

"What about you Samantha, have you heard from him?" Jackson looked up at me.

I shook my head, and gave him an apologetic look.

"I wonder where he went, I mean he's going to have to take over or else we can't play in the game next week. We'll have to forfeit." Asher leaned up against the wall.

"I should be back by next week." Jackson shook his head.

"Well let's hope, it's our first game and if we win then people will be afraid of us." Asher smiled.

"People will be afraid regardless, I mean you're really good too so you guys should be fine without me." Jackson laughed.

I looked at Asher, and he shrugged his shoulders. How was he good at lacrosse when he had played soccer his entire life.

"I know, it's weird. I've never touched a stick in my life and when I do, I'm great at it?" Asher raised his eyebrows.

"Dude, you're like amazing." Jackson laughed.

I listened to them ramble on about lacrosse for another ten minutes, and yes it was the  most boring conversation I've ever listened to. I couldn't help but think about Stiles, and why he told me he didn't want to see me anymore. I guess he just didn't like me as much as I thought he did, and knowing that was painful enough. I wish he didn't have to say it, and just break my heart even more. When he bought me those flowers today, I thought that everything would be fine and things were starting to go in the direction that I wanted it to. But I thought wrong because the next thing I know, I'm getting told that he wants me to be with Jackson. It just doesn't make sense, none of it did.

"So have they said anything about when you're getting out?" Ashton asked him.

"I can go to school tomorrow, but I have to be careful. My parents are picking me up later tonight, so u guess I'm  getting out tonight." Jackson laughed.

"What was the fight even about? I missed what happened completely." Asher chuckled.

Jackson looked up at me, and then back over at Asher, "Uh nothing really he just thought that he could beat me at a fight."
