I do not own Teen Wolf-

Chapter Ten.

Sunday didn't really consist of much. I sat around, did homework, and watched Full House. I didn't really move from the couch all day. Every now and then Asher would pass through as he came down to get food. My dad was at work and didn't get home until around seven, I was already in the shower and getting ready for a shower.

"Hey Samantha." he came into my room around eight.

"Hey dad, what's up?" I asked, setting my book down on my nightstand.

"You'll be home alone tomorrow night, until ten when I get home from work." he said, plopping down next to me on my bed.

"Where is Asher going to be?" I whined.

"He has lacrosse practice, and then he is going home with Jackson." he squeezed my arm.

"Dad, I don't like it here by myself. There is woods behind our house." I complained.

"Yeah, I'm glad the you're eyes are working." he chuckled.

"What if something comes out of the woods and tries to kill me?!"

"Like what? A deer?" he tilted his head to the side, "You'll be fine sweet heart, now go to sleep and I'll see you tomorrow." he kissed the top of my head and walked out of the door.

I threw my head back and groaned, if there was anything I hated more it was being home alone. It was the scariest thing ever for me, and I all could say was I was not looking forward to being home alone tomorrow.

*Scott's POV*

"Where have you been?" my mom asked as I snuck through the door.

"Out." I said, walking past her.

"What, did you not hear your phone ringing?!" she stood in front of me.

"Sorry." I muttered, finally getting around her.

I walked down the hall and into my room. I sat down on my bed, I was tired from the long day of training with Derek. I didn't know that this whole process would be so difficult to grasp, and frankly I wanted to give up. But I knew that I couldn't, quitting was not in my best interest. Eventually fatigue took over, and I found myself falling into a deep sleep.

I woke up the next morning about five minutes before Stiles would be here. I jumped up and changed my clothes quick before heading downstairs and grabbing an apple. I could hear a heartbeat that wasn't my own, not long after that I heard a engine as well. I knew that Stiles was near, I grabbed my bag and walked out the front door just as he was  pulling into my drive-way.

"Hey!" he said as I jumped in the front seat.

"What's up?!" I shut the door, turning to face him.

"Do you have this new motto where you just don't answer your phone, and you ignore your best friend all weekend?" he raised his eyebrows.

"Sorry, I was with Derek?" I turned to the window.

"Yeah, you're still talking to him because?" he asked as if it wasn't obvious.

"Because he can help me." I looked at him.

"Oh I can help you too but I don't see spending every last moment with me." he rolled his eyes.

"I think you're jealous." I smirked, "Love boy."

"What?" he blushed.

"How was Samantha's house?"
