I do not own Teen Wolf-
Chapter Twenty Two.
I didn't really leave my room at all that weekend, all I really did was sleep all weekend. I felt like I had gotten closure, Stiles and I were not meant to be together. By Monday morning I actually felt kind of happy, I had gotten what I needed to move on. Maybe being with Jackson was a good thing, either way I was going to try to be with Jackson. I just wanted to see how it goes, and if it blew up in my face at east I can say that I tried.
I pulled on a lace tank and a pair of light wash denim skinny jeans before straightening my hair and spending another five minutes braiding my bangs. I pulled on a dream catcher necklace that hung to just above my belly button. I smiled in the mirror and grabbed my bag and a pair of floral chuck taylors, skipping down the stairs I ran straight into Asher.
"Woah there Skips, why are you so happy?" he chuckled.
"I didn't know that being happy was a crime." I pushed my way around him.
"Hey," he said catching my arm on the way, "where'd you go on Friday?"
"To the dance?" I chuckled lightly.
"During the dance you, Jackson, and Scott all disappeared." his face was filled with worry, "So where'd you go?"
"I don't think I'm following." I said easing away from him and walking into the kitchen.
"Either you tell me, or I'll tell dad and have him talk to you." he pressed his lips together.
"It's not like I got attacked by a giant lizard and was paralyzed for two hours," I laughed, "relax Asher we just stepped outside to get some fresh air."
He through his head back with laughter and then looked at me, "You had me going until you said giant lizard."
"I did get dad's sense of humor." I raised my eyebrows and then pulled the muffins from on top of the fridge.
On the way to school Asher talked about the dance went perfect for him, besides the fact of Lydia freaking out when they found out I had disappeared.
"Why'd she get upset, we're not exactly talking." I looked at him, shocked.
"She feels bad about what Allison said to you." he looked at me.
"Oh." was all I said before taking another bite.
When we got to school I jumped out of the car and walked straight to my locker trying not to look at the blue jeep that was parked in it's normal spot. That was all going swell until I couldn't ignore Scott's calling of my name anymore and he just grabbed my arm. I quickly turned around and stumbled back a bit by the lack of balance.
"How are you feeling?" he asked, dragging me towards the place I had been avoiding the most.
Allison was standing there, glaring at me and Stiles was there and his face was full of worry. I quickly looked away from her glare, and his pleading eyes.
"Fine." I mumbled.
Stiles' POV
She looked fine before she came over here, she actually looked happy. Standing there now she actually looked miserable, I looked over at Allison who was giving her a death glare. I nudged her and gave her a 'what the hell', but that didn't stop her. She just shrugged her shoulders and grabbed her bag, storming off towards the school.
Thinking about it maybe that's what she wanted to talk about when she showed up at my house last night, not really that we got much talking done. I just wanted to know what was wrong with her, and if she really was okay.
