I do not own Teen Wolf-

Chapter Six.

Standing not even four inches away from my face was Stiles, and he did not look happy. He looked up and I could see sadness in his eyes. I took a silent deep breathe, and tried to look away. But I couldn't, my eyes were stuck on him.

"Can I come in?" his voice was a bit shakey.

I nodded, and we walked into the living room. He sat down on the couch, but I just stood not knowing what was really going on. I had no idea what to prepare myself for, I had not a clue what he was going to say. I leaned against the door frame, waiting for him to speak.

"We need to talk." his voice was soft.

  I nodded my head.

"Meaning you have to respond..verbally." he looked at me.

"Alright." I siad quietly.

"Nothing is going on between Lydia and I, I promise you that. She broke my heart and I could never forgive her for that." he looked out the window.

"You seemed like you were willing to forgive yesterday." I spoke a little louder this time.

"I had to straighten things out with her," he looked up at me again.

"Look I'm sorry about what happened between the two of you. I'm also sorry about being upset about this whole thing, I don't even know why I did." I laughed.

"Maybe because you have feelings for me?" I saw a smile teasing at the corners of his lips.

"I don't know you, I thought I did." I spooke quietly again.

He stood up ad walked over, standing right in front of me now. He looked me in the eyes, and I could feel my knees shaking and my heart racing. For a minute we just stood there, staring at each other.

"What do you want to know?" he finally said, with a smile.

"Everything." I whispered.

"Under one condition." he narrowed his eyes.

"Which is?"

"In return, you tell me everything about you." his grin widened.

"I think I could do that." I rocked on my heels, grinning.

"Oh and another thing." he said, walking towards the door.

"Yes?" I asked.

"You go with me tomorrow night to the party." he bit his lip.

I nodded my head, and with that he smiled and walked out the door and out to his jeep. I smiled at him, and shut the door walking in to the kitchen, I couldn't help but skip to the kitchen, and leap with joy once I heard his jeep pull away. I shrieked, and covered my mouth. I had honestly never acted like this before, but Stiles made me feel the way no one else had in my entire life. I smiled and bit my lip as I grabbed a glass of tea out of the fridge.

Then it hit me, the party was tomorrow meaning I had to find the perfect outfit to wear tomorrow. Almost all of me did not want to go, because it was Lydia's party. I did not want to confront her. I didn't even want to see her. However, Stiles had asked me to go and that meant everything to me. I jogged up the stairs and down the hall and into my room.

I sat the glass down on my desk, and ran over to my closet. I began tossing clothes all around, and by the time I found the perfect outfit all of my other clothes were on the floor in my room. It took me an hour to hang them all back up and by that time, Asher and my father were home with dinner. The sweet smell on Chinese food filled the kitchen.

"So dad, is okay if I go hang out with some friends tomorrow night?" I asked, sitting down at the table.

"Hm, how many friends?" he responded, shoving food into his mouth.

"Well, there's this party and this boy asked me to go. I thought that it would be a good idea considering I don't know too many people yet." I smiled, trying to win him over.

"Who asked you to go?" Asher asked, sitting down next to me.

"Non of your business." I smiled at him, sarcastically.

"Is it the boy who came to the house the other day?" my dad leaned forward.

"What if I said that it was?" I bit into some chicken.

"I'd have to think about it." he shook his head, and sipped on his soda.

"Why does that even matter?" I asked.

"Well, let's face it he is no Ryan." he chuckled.

"Dad, why would you say that?" I got up, and walked towards the stairs. Then I turned around, walking back into the kitchen grabbing the plate of food I had made. "Goodnight."

I got up to my room and slammed the door, why would he even bring up Ryan. So what if Ryan was the quarterback of my old school's football team. So what if Ryan's muscles were bigger than my head. So what if Ryan and my dad liked the same basketball team. Ryan was my ex boyfriend, and he was in the past. He didn't matter and the fact that he'd compare Stiles to Ryan was extremley low of him. Ryan had broken my heart, and I didn't even want to think about it. But according to my dad he was still the best man that had ever walked the earth.

I shook my head, and began to eat my sadness away. I didn't care if my dad said no, I was going to the party with Stiles tomorrow night.

*Lydia's POV*

I didn't know that shopping took so much effort, but it least it was for the good. I had found the perfect outfit for my party tomorrow night. Hopefully it would make Stiles realize what he was missing, now that Samantha was going. Part of me really liked her and wanted to be friends with her. But the other parts of me despised her for taking Stiles away from me. Who was I kidding, I had my chance and I blew it. That was my problem, and i guess I had to take full responsibilty for it. I just didn't understand how he could fall head over heel for her so quickly.

Wait yes I did, she was gorgeous. Her style was cute, her hair was perfect, and she was probably the nicest girl I had ever met. I had to face it, this was jealousy. And jealousy was not a pretty color on me, I hated it. This whole thing was useless, envying her because she had the guy that had once loved me. The guy that I could have had for the past year, but I chose Jackson. It didn't help that Jackson practiaclly drooled over her as well.

-

The next morning I awoke, and got ready as usual. But today I wasn't as happy as I usually was, I still felt tired. I felt tired, and I would give anything to just stay home and not go watch all of the boys drool over Samantha Williams. I could think of one hundred other things that I'd rather do. I got ready though, and got to school just as Stiles' jeep pulled in the parking lot. I watched as Scott and Stiles hopped out of the jeep. Their eyes instantly went to the Ford Escape that was parked a while away. I followed them, and my eyes were drawn to the girl getting out of the passenger seat. As tight dark jeans hugged her legs, and a white tank top and teal blazer covered her top half. She wore white flats and a bow bracelet to bring it all together. Her hair as straight as a board, she was Samantha and she was absolutly perfect.

But my eyes weren't on her anymore, instead they were on the boy getting out of the driver's side. He had brown hair that he pushed back with his fingers. He wore a grey t-shirt, and dark jeans. His deep blue eyes sparkled as he laughed at something Samantha had said. He was soon joined by Jackson, and they dissapeared into the school. My only question was, who was he?!

----------------------------------------------------------

Oohh Lydia has her eyes on Asher, how is this going to turn out? I can only imagine the worst things happening. Tell me what you think so far, you opinion means a lot. The outift that Samantha was wearing should be at the bottom.
