-Laurence's POV-

Laurence heard his name faintly, yet completely panicked nonetheless, from a familiar voice.

He glanced upward from his position to see Garroth running out of the woods with a limp Aphmau in his arms, covered in red. As Garroth ran closer, Laurence's mind became unable to process the events before him. The red slowly grew down lady Aphmau's dress, and onto Garroth's arms. Due to shock, Laurence irrationally became angry at Garroth, although he had regained enough sense to know how badly Aphmau was injured.

"GARROTH, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" Shrieked Laurence at the sight before him.

"Laurence, thank the divine warriors, go get Zoey and Kawaii~Chan, quickly!" Garroth's worry-filled face spoke the thousands of words he had yet to say, but more importantly, the three words that were now very apparent;

-Garroths POV-

/I love her./

Garroth knew now that no one else was right for him, he looked down at Aphmau as he set her onto a blanket on the soft grass, yet couldn't bring himself to look below her chin. He remembered her laughter, her smile, her voice....

"Aphmau, don't you dare leave me. I'm the biggest coward ever, and I hate myself for that. I-" Garroth became choked up as his eyes filled with tears, "I love you!" He looked down to see Aphmau's eyes flutter open temporarily.He tried to wipe his tears, realizing he'd only smeared the blood of the innocent into his cheekbone., and down his cheek to his jawline.

But now you know

But I can't say goodbye../

-Zoey's POV-

She blinked at the surprising statement that she and Kawaii~Chan had just received from Laurence.

"I'm sure Laurence~Kun can wait," Kawaii~Chan started, "Kawaii~Chan and Zoey~Senpai are in the middle of something right now."

Zoey knew from Laurence's expression that this could NOT wait.

"Listen, every second we waste here is another chance for Aphmau to be dead."

-Aphmau's POV-
