(Levi's POV)

There we were. On the bench. Making out. And in all honesty. I loved every fucking minute of it.

I let my tongue graze across his lips, to which opened them, without hesitation. I slid my tongue into his mouth, exploring every inch of it. Eren snaked his hands through my arms and held onto my face.

My tongue eventually hit his and a battle between the two began. Suddenly I hit a soft spot, making the brat gasp.

Snapping back into reality, we pulled apart, a thin trail of saliva connected between us. Eren blushed, wiping it away and on his pants. I inwardly cringed. Or so I thought.

"Sorry, there was no where else..." I shrugged.

"Whatever." He nodded.

"So, why...what...was that?" I shrugged again.

"We're supposed to be fake dating. It's only normal, right? I mean, you did peck me on the lips."

"Yeah! But that was a peck...not a total full blown make out section." I clicked my tongue and rolled my eyes.

"It doesn't matter...brat." He sighed.

"If you must know," I continued, "There was a woman over there glaring at us. Probably homophobic." He sweat dropped.

"Right, of course. There's the Levi I know and love." He said sarcastically, rolling his eyes. I chuckled, causing him to giggle. How cute.

"But why would you help me?"

"Huh?"

"Well, I'm gay. You know that it would've hurt me...but it wasn't effecting you. So, why would you help me?" I scowled.

"Because I'm gay too, you shitty brat." His eyes widened.

"Wh-What?! B-but Petra??" He stammered in disbelief. I only increased my scowl.

"Yeah, and? I broke it off, remember?"

"But that's why?" I shook my head.

"No." He scrunched up his face and titled it to the side.

"Then why?" I rolled my eyes.

"You."

"M-me?!"

"You seem surprised? I didn't like the way she was treated you that's all."

"Oh..."

"You didn't deserve it. Especially after the way I had treated you. So I broke it off, and came to apologize."

"Awe, Levi~" he cooed. "You really do care!" He teased, grinning. I rolled my eyes.

"Besides, I never really had interest. I just went out with her because it seemed everyone wanted me too. Top athlete, top cheerleader. Perfect stereotypical couple, eh?" I sighed.

"Oh, well, at least you followed your heart eventually. You shouldn't date people because others want you to. You should date because you want to. Sometimes, you have to think with your heart instead of your brain."

"Yeah." He sighed. I looked up at him to see him gazing happily off into the distance.

"But what do I know. I've never been in love. I've been that third wheel type my whole life."

"Hm, I've never been in love either..." But maybe we can both never been in love together, and be in love? I sighed eternally. I wished I could add that on.

"But...actual true love never exists." He said, suddenly sullen. His eyes were now shadowed by his bangs, and his voice was deep.

"What...what do you mean?" I asked, fidgeting slightly. He snapped his head up and stared right into my eyes, with his deep ocean colored ones. I could almost drown.
