(Levi's POV)

"They were just doing what they thought was right. You can't honestly blame me. I had nothing to do with this."

"They're your little clique, Petra. So it was indirectly your fault." I scowled, though she was through the phone.

"I don't know why I am even talking to you. I have other, better things to do."

"Take it as a sign you still love me." I snorted.

"Yeah, sure. Bye Petra."

"I love you."

"Tch. Wish I could say the same."

"But you can Levi. My dad says we were destined to be together." I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"Petra, I am gay. I only went out with you because of your father. And I guess I did sort of have feelings for you, or so I thought. But now I realize that it was peer pressure."

"But Levi-"

"Petra, you don't love me."

"Yeah I-"

"No. You don't. You think you love me. We're both popular, a jock. A cheerleader. Everyone idolizes us. We seem to have ton of 'friends'. It's all just a lie."

"I refuse to believe that."

"Petra, don't get me wrong, I want to like you, but as a friend. Remember how it used to be?" God, what the hell. Eren's turning me into a softie. Damn brat.

"No." I glared.

"Tch. You're not making this easy."

"Because I don't get what you're trying to prove! We are meant to be together. Prom. Then marriage. A family."

"Petra! Just listen to me. High school has changed us. Can't you see that?! Take a moment, and just try to remember the old days."

There was a moment of silence on the other line, and I heard a sniffle from Petra. Suddenly I was snapped into a flash back myself.

--

"Awe Petra! Why are you crying?" Asked a little brown haired, teal eyed boy. The crying girl looked up from her spot on the curb and sniffled.

"That girl over there smashed me into a tree, and I got a booboo." This made the petite light brown eyed girl named Petra wail harder.

Suddenly her eyes widened as warm tan arms wrapped around her. Eren started to softly sing into her ear, while rubbing circles in her back.

"It's alright Petra." He pulled away ever so slightly and wiped her tears. He then flashed his million dollar smile that made the light brunette blush.

"You got me and Levi to protect you!" He pounded his chest with his thumb and then turned to the slightly older Raven boy, who was standing a few feet away.

The older walked towards the couple and smiled. He reached out and ruffled both of their hairs'.

"You got that right. So don't mind Annie, kay?" She nodded and jumped up hugging the two boys gratefully.

"Thank you Eren! And Levi. You two are great friends." The three smiled at each other, and ran off to their other friends, worried looks on their faces.
