The holiday just around the corner was the one they all called Valentine's Day. A day where you'd show how much you care for your loved ones by splurging them with affection and gifts. Showering them with the very epitome of cliche.
Now, it was like this throughout the walls, including the old abandoned castle, known as the Scout Regiment's HQ. In fact, the cadets were in the mess hall making decorations, cards, you name it, for the special occasion. The section leader, Hanji Zoe, had even planned a Valentine's Day party, in which you could reveal your feelings to your love, or/and just have fun. Especially if you were single. Because we all know how it is to be single on a day meant for love.
Even so, away they worked, the excited crazy scientist hopping around, encouraging the young'ins to carry on. However, one certain cadet stood out in the crowd of hard workers. Because he wasn't doing anything.
"Eren, aren't you going to do something?" The brunette in question sighed.
"I already did all those decorations. I made origami flowers, hearts, and cupids. I made this weird paper accordion things, when you pull them apart and they're in shapes. I've cut just regular hearts. And I've made a couple paper garlands with Valentine colors." He replied exasperatedly, pointing to the large pile of decorations.
"I've got nothing else to do." The blue eye blonde nodded, not quite getting the answer he wanted.
"I see that. But what about your Valentine? Aren't you going to give anybody anything?" The Titan shifter shrugged.
"No, probably not. Maybe you and Mikasa. Because you're both practically family. But that's it." The blonde frowned.
"But Hanji said it was a party where we could come out to our crushes! You've got to have one right? Surely just not me or Mikasa..."
"Afraid not." Eren sighed, again, returning to his staring contest with the table.
"That sucks man. I'm giving one to Sasha." Connie said grinning.
"Gonna ask her to be my girlfriend." At this the brunette and the blonde perked up and smiled at each other, before passing it on to the short bald boy.
"That's great dude!" Eren gave Connie a high five, Armin at a loss for words.
"I just can't even right now...that's just too perfect..." He finally managed, grinning like the cute little shota he is.
"I smell OTP's." Their section leader said, appearing from underneath the table from nowhere, making them all
jump."What's going on??" She grinned wickedly, knowing something great was brewing.
"I-I am planning to ask out Sasha at the V-Day party-" Hanji cut him off with a squeal.
"I knew it~ THIS is fantastic!!!" She clapped her hands together and got into the boys face.
"Make sure you don't screw this up now, kay?" He nodded in fear, making the section leader cackle.
"Shitty glasses, stop terrorizing the cadets." Said a certain, stoic, short captain, that probably more than half of the room feared.
"Awe, Levi! I'm only making my OTP's happen." She joked, grinning. The captain raised a brow.
"What the hell even is an OTP?" Connie asked, getting shrugs from the two boys opposite him.
"Don't even ask. This is shitty glasses we're talking about. It's better to just leave her be." Eren chuckled earning looks from the four, then stopped, face flushing red.
"Sorry..." Levi rolled his eyes, and looked at Hanji, who was still in Cadet Springer's face.
"Ad get of the table! We eat off that you filthy bitch." The corporal seethed. Hanji jumped off laughing, and turned towards the cadets.
