*time skip 7 months later*
I wake up with a sudden thud and groan in pain. I slowly open my eyes to find I fell on the floor of my bedroom in my sleep, damn I gotta stop falling off the bed.
My eyes go wide open as I realise today's the day Angela comes home from the hospital! I jump up onto my feet and change into a pink sweater dress thing, galaxy leggings, pink sneakers, put my hair up in a tight pony tail and apply neutral makeup.
I'm so proud of how far Ange has come, she manages to walk, run, dance and even do the splits on her own! She's doing better than me and I've been able to walk since I was a fetus!
I skip downstairs and have breakfast with Jai. Afterwards we decide to do a collaboration for L.A Girl for my YouTube Channel, the one for my songs and the covers of course. We set all the equipment up outside by the pool for a different background and sit down on the grass.
I hit the record button.
"Hello Internet! It's me, hi again. So today, I'm here with my... Father Jai Brooks, and we'll be doing a collaboration of L.A Girl for you" Jai gives a little smile and waves.
Jai:

When we making our deposits into her apartment you know that I'm an artist so why you think I got shit

And with that we shut the camera off, I hug Jai thank you and run upstairs with the camera while he puts the other equipment up.
I hook it up to my Mac, edit it and then upload it and sit on my bed reading After by Imaginator1D (I think..) whilst waiting for it to upload.
About half an hour or so later it had finished uploading so I sit on my bed watching the views go up by every second.
I collapse onto my bed as someone jumps on me and engulfs me into a hug, I notice the hair and realise it's Ange and my excitement comes back.
"Nice to see you too!" I say, hugging her back.
"I've just missed you and this house! It feels so good to be home!"
"I can see that! It's good to have you back! And to see you walking!" Proudness filled my voice.
She hugs me one last time (I need to be the one who takes you home, one more time I promise after that I let you go... Okay okay sorry.) before she heads off into her own room.
My iPhone vibrates next to me, I whip my head around to see a new message from an unknown number. I swipe the screen, enter my passcode and read the message.
'Hey, it's Kian, Andrea has told me a lot about you'
My mouth is legit touching the floor because I'm so shocked, THE Kian Lawley just fricken texted me.
Me: hey, I can't blame her I'm amazing😏😂
Him: by the sounds of it, you sure are😂
Me: Why thank you kind sir💁🏽😂
Him: no problem ma'am😂
Me: so, do you know my name? 🤔
Him: uhh... Melody- no, no, it's Melanie, isn't it?
Me: yeah I'm totally Melody, bruh I'm named after Bars and Melody. Totally. 😂 yes it's Melanie.
Him: I hear you're one of the girls Jai and Ari adopted??
Me: sure am☺️
Him: lucky girl, they're amazing. Also, your videos, all of them, including the singing ones, are spectacular.
Me: thank you😊 not too bad yourself🙂
Him: haha welcome, well I gtg now kiddo, ttyl x
Me: alright, byeee👋🏽
I add him as a contact and decide to watch a couple of Bethany Mota's old videos on YouTube.
After I watch about 10 videos and more of other YouTubers I check the time and it's already 7pm, dear lord. To take up some time before I have a shower and go to bed, I read the rest of The Fault In Our start and give a head start to reading The School For Good and Evil by Soman Chainani which took about 2 hours.
I grab my boy shorts, grey tank top and head for the shower. I lather my body and brown hair in shampoo, and then condition my hair, leaving it silky soft.
I step out of the shower, dry off, say goodnight to the fam and head of to bed.
A/N: truly sorry that this chapter is extremely short compared to my usual ones, I'm just a little bit off today, have a few things on my mind so.. Yeah sorry loves💕
