The flight home was safe and I ended up pouring my heart out to a girl on the aisle across, which turned out to be a girl in my grade at our school that I've never noticed before, going by the name Jasmine, and no, not Jasmine Villegas, I wasn't able to catch her last name but we managed to exchange numbers.
Now I'm sitting on my chair, in my room, Skyping Niall.
"So how was Chicago?"
"Um it's a nice place" I say.
"No, I mean, is everything okay with you and your family?"
"Oh... Nope. Nothing's okay." I shed a tear.
"What happened sugarplum?"
"Jai slapped Ange. And Ange is moving out. Y'know this is what I feared when they adopted me, I didn't want it to fall apart. I don't know if I should be afraid of Jai or not, I don't know if this is gonna cause drama between Jai and Ari but either way I'm still gonna lose something. If it doesn't cause drama I'll lose Ange, if it does I'll lose Jai or Ari and Ange."
"Hey, hey, you're not losing anyone okay? They may not live with you but you're still going to see each other as much as you can. It's not the end of the world baby girl."
"It feels like it" I bring my knees about to my chest and hug them while trying to not cry. I don't need Ari worrying more than she already is.
"Want me to come over?"
"No, no it's fine. I can get my mind off it by doing the last minute homework I have to do because I've been really busy lately." I give him my best fake smile as I hold up a Mathematics textbook.
"Alright, if you say so. If you need me at all, I mean it, for anything, even if you're just bored, text me or call me."
"I will, byeeee." I hang up before turning the light on, grabbing my notebook and setting up for the 8 questions I need to complete.
