Aka-no-Joo

Chapter 3

I woke up in another room. Fresh tea was waiting for me and aclean set of clothes were sitting on the chair. My gloves were on the table just by the large window and my shoes were on the fresh steamed wooden floor. My head was hurting, but that didn't matter. I quickly got out of bed and ran to my shoes.

"Ohayogozimasu, Tsubaki-san." I turned and saw Munakata sitting at the coffee table with a cup of tea in his hand.

"Muna-"

"Reisi.." I narrowed my eyes. "Call me Reisi. I assume you're on your way to see Mikoto."

I looked down at my black socks. "How did I get here? Away from Onii-san?"

Reisi sighed, before setting his empty cup down. "When I had came to check on you, I saw that you were the only one asleep. Mikoto told me how sick you looked, and asked me to make sure you get rest. You were using your powers to take away his power, and leave him with nothing while he slept on you. I'm assuming it took it's toll on you and you lost a great amount of energy."

"I feel better now, " I said. " Can I go see him again? I want to talk to him ."

Reisi shook his head. I clicked my teeth and watched Reisi stand on his feet. A small grin on his face as he held his hand out for me. "I do believe you're going to be late for class. In order to make Mikoto worry less about you; He asked to recruit you into Scepter 4 and place you under our protection until graduation comes."

"I -- " Before I could reject, Reisi continued.

"It's a way to watch Mikoto and HOMRA whenever you'd want. "

I sighed. I wanted to keep an eye out on Mikoto and that girl he mentioned in his sleep.

Anna...

She must really mean something to him. Something more important than me.

" I can watch him whenever I want to. " I argued.

"Not with the resources we have, you'll only be left in a circle." He sayswhile running his finger around his cup. "With scepter4 ,wecan get you farther than you have before. "

While walking towards the island, Munakata was by my side. No matter how many times I've tried to push him away or lose him; he ends up finding me.I was beginning to get more and more annoyed by the second. When I got to the station, Inari was the first person I saw.

"I take this train and leads me to the school bridge. Where I can easily walk the rest of the way to schoo-"

"That won't be necessary, " Reisi Said, before walking past me and heading towards the ticket masters. My eye was twitching. "I'm here to see to it that you make it to school."

"I'm sure you have somewhere better to be!" I yelled out. "Don't you have some 'King –like' stuff to do or something?"

Reisi smirked and fixed his glasses. Istuffed myhands into my pocket and walked up to my friends.

"Tsuba-chan!" Hana cheered. I grinned at my friends. Hana was wearing her new glasses and holding her new pink purse. Inari was swiveling around on her PDA; when she stopped what she was doing, she was staring at Reisi. Then her eyes turned to me and she gave me the look.

Have you ever done something that you never got to tell your parents about, and when they finally find out,they give you a look? That evil explanatory glare. That's the look Inari was giving me. A look that made me give her my own pleading look. Hana was to busy running her mouth to understand what exactly Inari was staring at me like that for.

" Inari-chan," I said. But she shook her head at me.

" You can explain it later. " Inari said, before leading us to the train. Reisi was standing beside me.
