35. The day Ruka was kidnapped

To sum up a large story the ninja we had saw indeed killed Zabuza with the Senbon needles and explained that he had been searching for Zabuza for a long time seeing as he had a warrent. The ninja left taking Zabuza with him, much to Naruto's anger, and Kakashi Sensei collapsed from overuse of his Chakra.

Now we're at Tazuna's house awaiting his recovery....

"Kakashi Sensei!!" Sakura said happily as our Sensei finally awoke "you've been out of it for a week!"

"I have?" He said, sitting up "well that was quite some fight, where are we?"

"We're at Tazuna's house" Saskue replied simply.

"Oh" Kakashi Sensei said "I knew that."

We all sweat dropped. It felt good to have our Sensei back though, there was no denying that.

"That fight was epic Kakashi Sensei!" Naruto said, jumping for joy "you used the Sharingan and all those water Jutsu! Then Sasuke and I made that plan with the wind Shurinken! Then Sakura-chan protected Tazuna! Oh, then Ruka saved me from getting sliced in half and she fought Zabuza! Then that stupid ninja came and killed him and...."

"Zabuza's not dead" Kakashi Sensei said, interrupting Naruto's rant.

We all gasped in surprise and I bit my lip nervously. What does he mean not dead; I thought those Senbon needles had killed him.

"N-Not dead?" Sakura said in disbelief "but that ninja said...!"

"That ninja was in league with Zabuza" Kakashi Sensei interrupted "the position of those Senbon needles were off. I knew something wasn't right."

"What do you mean" I asked quietly.

"Senbon needles were originally used as healing tools in certain lands and still are" Kakashi Sensei explained "however many individuals that prefer a less bloody and silent kill use Senbon. The way those needles pierced Zabuza's neck was only enough to put him in a near death state."

"Near...death state?" Naruto asked confused.

"It's a type of physically state that kills you" Kakashi Sensei explained "but only for a short time, about 10 minutes or so. That's why that ninja was rushing our conversation so he could make an escape with Zabuza before the state wore off."

Naruto growled angrily and balled his hands into fist. I noticed that ninja had made Naruto very agitated lately. I'm not sure why; I believe it's because he feels the ninja was more powerful than him.

"Oh well" Kakashi Sensei said shrugging "not much we can do now. I do think some training is needed though."

At the word training Naruto instently brightened up and smiled deeply.

"Alright, bring it on! Believe it!"

"You want us to climb a tree" Naruto asked confused, scratching his head.

We were currently standing in the middle of the forest close by Tazuna's house in a small clearing. Kakashi Sensei wanted to teach us good Chakra control so we were doing this.

"Yes" Kakashi Sensei said simply "using your Chakra, not your hands."

"That's impossible!!" Naruto said crossing his arms.

Kakashi Sensei raised an eyebrow then hobbled over to a tree seeing as he was on crutches. Kakashi Sensei stood in front of the tree then he walked up it like he was walking simply on flat ground. They all gaped in surprise, except me, Granddad taught me how to do this. We watched as Kakashi Sensei hung upside down from a branch and watched us.

"Now then" he said simply "focus your Chakra into your feet and give it a try. Not to much, and not to little."

We all nodded then stood in front of individual trees, giving each other a smll glance in the process.

"3" Kakashi Sensei began "2....1....go."

Sakura, Naruto, and Sasuke all took a running start up their trees but I just walked. I slowly walked up the tree, balancing the Chakra into my feet and sat on a branch close to the top. I looked over at Sakura's tree and noticed she was sitting on a branch as well, staring down at the boys and giggling. I smiled, Sakura has such great Chakra and doesn't even know it yet.

"Come on you two" Kakashi Sensei said staring at Naruto and Sasuke "Ruka and Sakura have already got to the top!"

Naruto and Sasuke looked up in disbelief and I blushed as Sakura giggled and waved.

"No way" Naruto said as he stared at me.

"Naruto" Kakashi Sensei said "how will you ever hope to be Hokage if you can't even climb a tree?! Ruka would make a better Hokage!"

Naruto blushed in embarrassment then growled at Kakashi Sensei.

"Sasuke" Kakashi Sensei said "how will you avenge your clan if you can't climb a tree? Might as well have Sakura do it!"

Both the boys growled in determination and tried again. I see what Kakashi Sensei was doing, he was just trying to rile them up and get them more motivation. That was nice.

"I'm going to become Hokage!" Naruto said taking out a Kunai "and I'm going to get way up there!"

He threw the Kunai, meaning to mark his tree, instead the Kunai flew in my direction and cut the branch I was sitting on. Before I could even think of what to do, I started falling from 50 feet up.

"NARUTO! YOU BAKA!" Sakura yelled "DO SOMETHING!"

I started screaming as I fell.

You know that feeling you get when you're on a roller coaster and it drops down? I had that feeling in my stomach right now and it didn't feel good. I screamed and screamed and screamed like there was no tommorow.

All I could think was 'is this how I'm going to die?'

Suddenly, before I could think of an answer to that question. A hooded figure jumped from the treetops and snatched me from the air before leaping off. I held onto the person slightly confused as to what just happened. I couldn't see the person who had saved me, but he or she was taking me away from my group. I then realized what was happening when I heard Naruto yell faintly:

"HEY! THAT GUY JUST KIDNAPPED RUKA!"

Oh....

Naruto: WHO WAS THAT GUY THAT KIDNAPPED RUKA!?

Me: Patience!! You'll see!

Sakura: WE HAVE TO GO GET RUKA!

Me: Ok! We will but....

Sasuke: STORY_OF_FATE13 DOSENT OWN NARUTO!

Me: But...

Everyone: LET'S GO!

Me: Fine! Ok! Later guys! Geez!
