"So what's the plan exactly" I asked curiously "we don't know where this girl is and we don't even know her name."

"I know" Hinata said simply "the first smart thing to do would be to go to her village and ask the people who put up the request in the first place."

"Sounds good to me" I said shrugging "where's the village?"

"It's called the Land of Fox" Hinata said "and it's not far from here."

"Alright!" I said firmly "let's go!"

~??? POV~

"You're a big, old, fat meanie!" I said angrily as my tail swished back and forth.

"Shut it brat!"

He gave me a hard push and knocked me back on the ground as my eyes glistened in pain.

"Owie" I muttered sitting up.

The man smirked and turned back around to finish whatever he had been doing.

"Sooner or later those damn villagers will pay up!" He said angrily "or they can say goodbye to their little goddess!"

He held a Kunai up to my throat and I whimpered as tears fell down my cheeks.

Someone....please save me.

~Ruka's POV~

"So" Hinata said as we sat down with the chief of the land "when exactly was she taken?"

"Yesterday" the chief said frowning "she was taken in the middle of the night by....by...."

The chief stopped talking and seconds later his light snores could be heard. I sweat dropped as an irk mark appeared on Hinata's forehead.

"Wake up old man!" She said, brandishing her fist at him.

The chief jerked awake and cleared his throat as the witnesses that stood by him sweatdropped.

"Sorry" one of them said shyly "he always does this. Try not to let it bother you to much."

"As I was saying" the chief continued "she was taken in the middle of the night by mercenaries. Her screams could be heard throughout the land and we all rushed to save her but to no avail."

I frowned slightly as Hinata lowered her head in deep though. In the middle of the night, I suspect doing it while everyone was sleeping was smartest.

"What's her name" I asked curiously.

"Her name is quiet beautiful. Her mother gave her to me at birth saying she had business to take care of. She named the girl....the girl...."

*Snore*

I sweatdropped again and sighed deeply as Hinata clenched her teeth in anger.

"I'M ABOUT TO BREAK YOUR FACE OLD MAN!" She yelled angrily.

The chief jerked awake again and continued.

"Her name is Naoki" the chief said simply.

"Naoki" I said slowly "how old is she?"

"Only three" the chief said as I felt my heart slowly breaking in my chest.
