Louis's P.O.V.

They can't be serious.

"Think about it." Ashton said as he started to walk around the table. "Side by side, we will be invincible. One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer uniting together as one to take over the world."

"Not only will that take time but, people will finally look up to us and give us the respect we all deserve."

"In fear." Zayn said.

Ashton stopped at the end of the table between Zayn and Niall.

"Have you ever heard the phrase, 'To be feared is to be respected'?" Ashton said. "I know that you all think you're 'Goody Goody'."

He said, making quotation marks with his fingers.

"But what do you think will happen... Years from now? Everyone will probably adore you, love you, even pay to see you... I don't know breath." He laughed. "But if you continue this hero thing sooner or later, the world will be crime free. And you know what that means?"

He looked down at us.

"If there's no crime then, there's no need for superheroes." He said. "They'll soon forget you as you'll get bored, fading into the background."

He looked down.

"And if, for example, another 9/11 happens and not even you see it coming." He said, nodding at Harry. "All of a sudden, the finger is pointed at you. They blame you for it. Even though you had nothing to do with it but, it would be very hard for 5 voices to convince a billion voices that you are not guilty."

He took a deep breath and sighed.

"Despite everything you've done for them, eventually they will hate you." He said and walked back over to his seat.

"So why start later when we can start now?" He asked as he sat back down.

It was silent as I let his words sink in.

There's no way I would ever work with them and to be... Rulers of the earth or something? There's no way I would do that. I feel sick to my stomach just thinking about my sweet little sisters living in fear. Fear of me.

"So, what exactly are you offering?" Harry asked, making all of us look at him with wide eyes.

Is he... Actually, considering this?!

Even Ashton looked shocked as he blinked and filled his glass up with the last bit of wine.

"The lads and I will stop causing terror if, you agree to join us. Then together we'll be all nice and save the world and yadda yadda." He said. "But in return... The people will have to serve us."

"Like slaves?" Niall asked and Ashton shrugged.

"Why not?" Ashton said, leaning back in his chair, holding his glass. "The Americans did it for 245 years and they seemed okay with it."

He sipped his wine.

"Excuse me?" I said, shocked.

He held his hand up.

"Save it." He said and set his wine glass down. "Sadly, like all conversations, it has to end."

He looked at Calum and he nodded, standing up from the table and walking out the door, he once stood by.

"You don't have to answer now but, we'll give you a week to think about it." He said. "And really... Think about it."

Hm. Please. The lads and I are going to say no.
