Chapter 16

Liam's P.O.V

I followed the screaming and ended up in Louis's room. He stood there with water dripping down him and a towel wrapped around his waist as he watched Harry in his bathroom.

"What's wrong?" I asked him.

"There was a spider." Louis said.

"Really." Niall said, walking into the room.

"It's a big one."

"Louis, I don't see it." Harry said, moving clothes around.

Louis popped his head in.

"It was over there." He said, pointing to a corner.

Harry picked up a shirt and shouted, throwing it at Louis making him scream in a high pitch voice. Harry burst out laughing, pointing at Louis.

"Oh, you dick!" Louis said to him, making Niall and I laugh. "Did you even find it?"

"No." Harry said, stepping out of the bathroom.

Louis eyed him and walked back into the bathroom.

"You know he's going to get you back for that." I said as we walked out of his room.

"Yeah. I'll be safe for the rest of the week though."

We walked downstairs to the living room, seeing Zayn laying across the couch.

"Professor Walsh called. She wants us to come down there for a checkup." He said.

"When's our driver coming?" Niall asked.

"In an hour."

I sit down in the comfy chair as Niall and Harry sat on the other couch. We were quiet while we watched SpongeBob SquarePants until Niall said.

"Hey Harry."

"Yeah."

"Wanna know what's funnier than 24?"

I looked at him as he copied SpongeBob on TV.

"What?" Harry said, playing along.

Niall pinched his nose.

"25." He said, in his best SpongeBob voice taking us off guard and burst out laughing.

"Oi! Are you watching SpongeBob without me!" I heard Louis say behind me.

I felt a weight land in my lap making me wince.

"Ouch! Louis?" I said.

Louis looked at me with a smile, his hair still a bit wet.

"What? This was the only seat available."

"You didn't have to jump on me. Plus, we're about to leave anyway." I said, just as there was a honk outside.

He hopped off me.

"Where are we going?" He asked.

"Gotta take a checkup for Professor Walsh." I said.

We walked towards the door as Louis slipped on the black toms, he always left beside the door. He locked the door behind us and we all hopped into the car.

Louis's P.O.V.

"Bro, What the hell are you drawing?" I asked Harry.

He stopped writing on the white board and looked at the picture he was drawing as he was seeing it for the first time.

"I have no idea."

First, he just wrote two numbers 28 and 26 then, he makes a line pointing down under both. He then drew a wavy line under that which I guess represented water and he wrote 10:00 on the side.

Zayn walked in with a plate in his hands.

"You guys. It's someone's birthday today and they brought cake." He said with the biggest smile on his face.

"Where?!" Niall said, jumping up and followed Zayn.

Liam shook his head at them and smiled as he stood up and walked towards Harry's picture.

"Did you see this? In some kind of vision or something?" Liam asked him.

"Yes. Kind of."

I got up and stood on the other side of Harry, looking at the picture closer.

"Could be some kind of plan layout." I said.

"I can see that." Liam said and pointed at the 28. "28 of something and 26 of something are going to fall at the same time into the ocean at 10:00 o'clock."

Harry looked at him.

"How did you-"

"But is it going to happen here?" Liam cut him off.

"I... I don't know."

"Think. If Luke and the others are planning on doing this then we don't have much time. It's almost 9 o'clock."

Harry looked at the drawing as he thinked. He touched his chest and pulled on the string of a necklace and pulled out a small black crystal and held it in his hand.

"Do you know where the Hollywood sign is?" He asked.

"It's in California." Liam said then to me. "Right?"

"Yeah in L.A." I said.

"That's where they are but, it's not going to happen today... Saturday I think, so 3 days from now." Harry said.

Harry pushed the necklace back under his shirt and put the cap on the marker he was using.

"Come on. Let's go tell James."

Somewhere in L.A...

Calum admired the Hollywood sign in the distance as he tried his best to ignore the arguing from inside.

"MICHAEL, YOU'RE BEING A FUCKING DRIVER!" Ashton shouted.

"DO YOU KNOW HOW SHADY THAT'S GONNA LOOK IF SOMEONE SEE'S ME DRIVING THAT THING!" Michael shouted.

"THEN SHIFT INTO SOMEONE ELSE! I'M DONE ARGUING ABOUT THIS! THIS IS STUPID!"

"THIS PLAN IS STUPID!" He fired back.

"NOT IF WE HAVE CALUM SLOWING THEM DOWN!"

Calum decided to go inside from the mention of his name.

"The plan will work if we can figure out the times and if everyone does their job." Ashton said as Calum walked into the living room, finding papers scattered around everywhere with Ashton and Michael in the middle.

They were both red faced, standing in front of each other with their fist at their sides. Luke watched silently in the corner with a bag of skittles in his hands.

"They're coming here tonight so we have to lay low until it's time." Ashton said.

"Until it's time? I thought you knew." Michael said.

"I will. I just need to concentrate some more. It's not easy watching 6 people's minds."

"Why don't we just kill them already?" Calum asked.

"Not yet. Okay." Ashton said. "In the end, we're going to need them."

"For what exactly?" Michael asked.

"Didn't I tell you guys?" Ashton asked and they shook their heads No. "After the tests... We're going to invite them for dinner."
