"What is this headache and why do I hurt all over?" I slowly bear my senses as I realise my situation. My hands are tied behind a long pole that reaches up to ceiling and my body is spread out onto a large table, with my legs and waist tied down into it. I slowly lift my pounding head to see complete darkness, I feel my self slowly panicking as my breath becomes increasingly ragged. My worst fear: the dark, after being trapped in a dark room for three years I can't stand it. It feels like everything is closing in on me the darkness surrounding me, getting under my skin and in my body. "It seems you've woken up." I hear a door slowly open and close before the sound of heavy boots clomping on the floor towards me grow steadily louder. "Welcome to the hideout, I hope you like it, you are my guest of honour today and I wouldn't like you leaving here without me having a little fun. So, as you are the guest you get to choose what I use first, or would you like me to choose for you? As I have many instruments to play with."

A single light bulb is turned on as the objects of the room become apparent. Lined across all of the walls are weapons, every kind you could possibly think of and in the corner my two katanas sheathless and glistening in the small amount of light. To my left a door and in front of the door Zarui. "Welcome to the chamber, this is my favourite room in the compound. It's so dark and menacing just like me. I love blood don't you? It's so sweet and luscious I could just drink it all day. Now then shall we get started, as I said you can choose the first instrument. I don't care which one we use first I'll get through all them eventually." I keep my mouth shut and stare determinedly at him as he walks around the room admiring the weapons. "Well it seems I'll have to choose for you, by the way I really liked sucking all the blood out of
your wound I gave you it was enough for the amount you took away from me. Found it, we'll use this one." He takes a long stick with a metal ball on the end off the shelf. "This is one of my favourites, I just like be the sound of bones crushing under me. I'll use this one on your foot it sounds the best." He slowly lifts up the weapon and slams it onto my left foot causing the bones to shatter under the pressure causing a loud snap. I bite my lip as waves of pain flood up my leg as I battle against the metal chains pinning me to the table. "Now now darling, it's okay to scream. It makes it all the more fun for me. Next." He puts the weapon back and picks up one of my katanas. "How attached you are to these katanas, all the fun it will be to snap them but we have to test them out first." He hold the katana in his right hand as he places it on my stomach. "Your scar is very diagonal on your stomach I think we should make it more even don't you?" He slowly draws the katana across my stomach leaving a wound on it, in a cross shape.

I breathe heavily as I try to bear with the pain running throughout my body. "Perfect, a cross. Well they do say x marks the spot, maybe I should stab you through there to kill you, seeming as it is asking me to." He smirks and holds the katana with his hand on the blade and squeezes. "Never underestimate a Raito." I say through gritted teeth.
"Hmm what was that, I couldn't hear you well enough." I clench my fists in pain
"Never underestimate a Raito." He laughs loudly
"You seem very fond of your clan don't you? How about we really tattoo those marks onto you, so they will never go away." He takes the katana and places it on my left cheek on top of one of my markings.
"Here we go." He presses down as he slowly moves the katana down my cheek leaving a trail of blood in its path. He slowly goes through all six of them on my cheeks as I keep my stare on his face, never forgetting who I am. The blood oozes down my neck and a drips onto the table as he works the smirk never leaving his face. "All done, how I love the human skin. It's so fragile and so easy to cut." He leans down to my ear and whispers the last word into it as I shiver from his deep voice. "I'm done playing for today, it not exciting when they don't scream. I think I'll leave you till your nearly dead and then kill you. It'll be so much easier." He clomps away, puts the katana back with the other ones andleaves the room with a large clang on the door. "See you in a few days." He shouts thought the door.

I slowly breathe out as I try to bear the pain in my stomach, the simple action of breathing hurting my shattered body. My whole body throbbing in pain I slowly move my hands together to create a hand sign. "Body flicker jutsu." I whisper under my breath. I imagine myself standing at the door but all my body does is rock violently back and forth in the straps. I try to stop my racing heart battering in my chest "shit" how am I so stupid? The body flicker jutsu is when a ninja moves at high speeds impossible to see with the bare eye and is concealed with smoke. I squeeze my eyes shut, my plan now ruined without the jutsu working. My body screams in pain from simply rocking back and forth as I take a deep breath to calm myself. "Well then the hard way it is." I move my hands together and mutter "fire release: ember clone technique." A single clone appears beside me and starts to release my binds on my hands. I feel the chains fall off my hands as I slowly sit up, with the help of the clone and reach over my body to unstrap my waist and ankles. I grimace in pain as I lean over to my ankles and the clone poofs into smoke from my blood loss. "So much for some weight to lean on." I slowly use my arms to shove my feet off the table as I slide my body onto the ground. "Ah" I let out a small groan of pain as my bare left foot touches the cold metal floor, I crumple onto a heap on the floor, my right leg feeling like jelly from blood loss. I slowly unwrap my wrappings down my left leg and put it around my gaping wound in my stomach before trying to rip a bit of it off to put around my left foot. I sink in despair as I hold the ripped up wrapping in my hand from not having enough strength to rip it and I slowly lean down to put it on my foot before grabbing the top of the table . I drag myself up as I slowly stumble to my katanas using my arms to guide me across around the room to the corner. I grab the katanas and sink into them as I fall back onto the floor, I hazily look around the room for some kind of crutch and spot a wooden pole with a t-shape at the top on the shelf above.  I shudder at the thought of this one being used and reach up with my arm to get it off the shelf. It clatters onto the floor as I grab the end and slowly pull my self up into a standing position. I place it under my left armpit and hobble to the door using it and holding onto the shelves. I slowly open the door and peek through the crack. A long hallway with doors running down it stretches out either side, there's no way I'm getting lost in this hideout. I slowly retreat back into the room and collect my chakra into my chest. If the room is metal I'll melt it down. "Fire release: dragon fire technique." I mutter as I emit a stream of fire through my mouth as it takes the form of a dragon and slowly melts the metal of the roof. I feel my chakra deplete quicker than normal as I fall onto the door with a large clang. I hobble over to the table and slowly clamber onto it, using my stomach to leaver myself up. While lay on the table panting heavily from exhaustion I hold my stomach trying to stop the bleeding. I slowly stand up using the crutch to help me and I reach up with my arm touching the edge of the small hole. Slowly I collect up my strength and pull myself up into the small hole with enclosed with earth. I lie there panting from the strain I put on my muscles as I slowly feel my red puffed up cheeks and the blood slowly pours out of it with some pus seeping through. My hold my stomach in pain as I kneel over and groan at the pain. "Shit, I'm underground I'm gonna have to dig." My stomach suddenly groans in frustration, I hold it tightly remembering the last time I had a meal. It was the morning of my capture and I don't know how long I've been out but it must have been a while. My foot starts to throb in pain as I touch it slowly and turn around in the direction of the surface. I use the makeshift crutch to slowly dig out a diagonal tunnel heading for the surface.
