I sit on the bench frozen in shock from the story the grey haired ninja told me. "S-so my mother was a traitor, thats w-why they all hate me." I look up into his eyes in awe at all the information he had given me. He looks down in shame that he is included in the people who hate me "Yes." He mutters not able to look me in the eye. "She killed 2 villagers, 6 chunin and 3 jonin all in one day, including one of my closest friends." I look into his eye and try to smile, I have to keep happy so I can still make people laugh and smile in front of me. As long as everyones smiling and happy i'll be happy, but I know that deep inside the only thing that will truly make me happy is revenge on my clan and family. "Thank you Kakashi for telling me the truth. So are you going to take me to my apartment now?" he snaps out of his daze "Oh yeah, sure" I get up and carry on the way we were going trying to hide my sadness and anger at the townspeople who carry on making insults at me even with Kakashi at my side. We soon come to a small apartment block which looks rather run down. We go to the top floor and stop by a door at the end of the row. "Here." Kakashi hands me a pair of keys waves and poofs away with out even saying goodbye "rude" I mutter under my breath. I fiddle with the lock for a bit and then open the door. The apartment is small and cute but I have enough space. There is a little kitchen to the left of the apartment and to the right is a living room. Behind them is a little bedroom with a single bed and a small window. I take out a scroll from my kunai pouch and summon the little things I could save from my house. I unclip my katanas and put them by the front door for tomorrow. I put up a picture of my dad, sister and me and another picture of my mother with my father and my sister. I take out my sisters bow and quiver that my father got the finest carpenter to make for her and my mothers chakra blades that have a symbol of our clan wielded onto it, apparently my father got her them for her birthday years ago. He had to send them back to the finest blacksmith three times before he was satisfied with them and the black smith was from the cloud so he travelled all the way to the cloud three times before he gave then to my mother. I put them in my kunai pouch reminding myself that I need to train more with them. I then hold my fathers ANBU mask in my hands and trace the six turquoise marks like mine on my face. I carefully place it on a hook by the front door and look at it thinking about all the memories I had.

"Daddy"

"Yes darling"

"Can I please try on your mask, please" He sits there for a minute thinking about the answer.

"No, darling, it's against the rules and you know how strict they are about these types of things. But i'll tell you what i'll stick this picture." he takes a picture of me out of his kunai pouch and sticks it on the inside of his mask. "In here and then when I'm on my missions I can always see you and be happy." He holds my hand as we walk down the busy streets of the hidden rock village and smiles at me, like a full smile with the eyes and everything. I smile back not loving my father anymore than this moment.

back to real time

I stand infront of the mirror and try to imitate the same smile I did to my father but my eyes didn't have the same sparkle as they did before. I walk back into the living room and grab my sisters bow and quiver. I finger the arrows and the little carving on the side of our clan symbol on each arrow. I put my finger on the swirl and then follow the line down to the small circle with the dot in the middle. I put them on the wall above my bed knowing that I could never use it, even though I have perfect aim I can never get used to using it, I'm too impatient. I can feel my leg shaking as I remember the past and all the hate I have had. I open the little wardrobe to find two more ninja outfits and a big baggy shirt in the back, probably belonging to the past residents. I get undressed and pull on the shirt before getting into the small bed. I skip dinner as even the thought of it is too much.

I finally fall asleep homesick and wanting my family back.

The next morning

"Ahhhh, I'm late" I jolt up out of bed as I realise the time. I quickly pull on my clothes and put on my kunai pouch quickly. I clip my katanas onto my sash and look at my self in the mirror. My colour on my face is returning and my eyes aren't so droopy. I quickly conceal my face and then poof to the classroom hoping that I'm not late. I poof outside the door and try to act calm and collected as I open the door. But to my surprise, the only person in there was Sasuke. I walk towards him and whisper in his ear "Any talk about yesterday and I will leave you to die." He looks into my eyes and smirks before looking away and acting like I wasn't there. I walk to the same seat as I sat in yesterday and sit down waiting for more people to come in. Aiko then walks in soon after and heads towards the desk I am sitting at. Her eyes visibly brighten at the sight of me wanting to sit next to her again and she hurries towards the desk. Obviously more settled in with the thought of talking and having a laugh she smiles under her mask before saying a smallish "hi"

"Hi Akio, how are you today. Did you do any training last night for the graduation?" she nods

"Yes, I did."

"Cool, so what jutsu can you do? I have my really cool kekkai genkai, it's lava by the way. But the weird thing is that to do my kekkai genkai you need fire and earth chakra natures but I have fire and wind chakra natures so technically I can't be able to do the jutsu but I can. What cool jutsu can you do?"

"Well I have two kekkai genkai..."

"Cool you are so lucky I want two kekkai genkeis. What are they?" she thinks about her answer for a second before coming up with "I can retract bones in and out of my body, like armour and also I can transfer my chakra to objects to make them move."

"Cool thats awesome I wish I was you, the perfect life, parents, I mean I didn't even know my mother and my clan and for my father and sister well..." As soon as I mention parents suddenly she freezes again and I curse under my breath for being so stupid. I stay quiet as I wait for her to recover as I play with my mothers chakra blades clanging them against the desk quickly up and down. "My parents a...

Suddenly Sakura Haruno and another girl who I don't know the name of storm into the classroom screaming to each other about their Sasuke. They rush over to Sasuke and start sweet talking him about how they should sit there and then a whole load of other girls join in and they all start screaming at each other how they should be next to him. Fed up of their screaming I poof into the seat next to Sasuke and put my arm over his shoulder lovingly saying "Actually I was the first into the classroom so I get to sit next to Sasuke." I smirk at all the girls loving the attention that I got from everyone in the class. The girl with blonde hair that came in with Sakura, feeling brave, says "yeah but that doesn't mean we can't sit next to him" I laugh and retort back "Well you can look at him over there." I point to the other side of the class room as they realise that there is no where else to sit. As the girls trudge back to their seats I shout to the blond girl "Hey blondie whats your name?" She turns around

"Ino"

"Well Ino, I like your guts, we could become great friends one day." I smile at her and she smiles back. Then Iruka walks into the room as I go and sit back into the seat next to Aiko smiling inside at my victory. Iruka informs the whole class "Hello class today is the graduation exam, this time it will be on on the clone jutsu." As I sigh in relief I hear Naruto a few seats beside me groaning in frustration about how he can't do the jutsu. I shake my head in disbelief as I realise that some people really cannot do the jutsu at the age of 12. I sit back into my seat as I realise that this will be a breeze.
