The door slams and a figure appears bursting in. The sleepiness I felt before from my dream fades before I even notice it's there. Before I can register anything is wrong something or someone is on top of me pinning me down, thrashing around and trying to bite me.
My defence is slow and sloppy as I'm still in shock, as it wears off my attack becomes more accurate and I manage to grab the pocket knife I keep under my pillow and stab it through my attackers hand. They Yelp in surprise. Having felt they've lost the upper hand they go for one last bite aimed at my throat, still thrashing around I manage to haul them off me and throw them onto the floor. I gain a few scratches and a some bruises but apart from that I'm just shocked. I fly out of bed and face my attacker I can't see who or what they are as its too dark, and I can't catch a scent because the pack house is full of scents I can't tell apart. I lunge for the lights and they dive towards the window and smash through it. Just at that instant I flick the light switch and I'm momentarily blinded, but not for long. I jump towards the window but they're already gone. All I see is a tuft of black hair caught in the glass and my knife left on the window still covered in my attackers blood.
I walk towards my mirror and check for any bites or serious injuries. My arms are covered in scratches and I have a few on my face, my chest is covered in purple bruises from my attacker applying his full wait to me, God they where heavy. I think maybe I've a cracked Rib, great!
I close my window as much as I can and grab a blanked to pin over it for now.
I jump in the shower to wash off the blood , mine and theirs.
Once I'm clean and dressed I head to see alpha Ivan as any problems we have to go and see him. Although he's the last person I want to talk to now.
But still I head towards his room.
