They say when your life ends , your life flashes before you eyes, your memories and mates , loves and lovers , family and foes.  But it doesn't. You just feel numb and detached as blurred sounds you recognise but can't quite grasp intrude on your peace and smells you can place overwhelm you, maybe they previously reminded you of something, but how are you to know? Balancing on the side of the dark abyss of the unknown end of this life, nothing seems familiar anymore. 
    
    
    Raven is 17 and the beta of the Lycan oak pack, Her alpha Ivan is her closest friend and ally . Raven suffers from a from a rare condition called nyetam, meaning if marked by another wolf that is not her true mate the results would be fatal.  So when the unexpected happens and Raven accidentally gets bitten, will he be her true mate or will he forever live with the guilt of killing the pack beta.All Rights Reserved
