The rooms had high ceilings, chandeliers and had decorative ornaments. This is fit for a queen! Although a snob like that won't find an apartment good enough for her.
I went to the bedroom, but, only to find one. Wait! Are we sleeping in the same room!?! I guess it wouldn't be so bad if there was two beds. I looked inside, there was two chest drawers, an en suite, a massive wardrobe.
One double bed. I looked at it blushing.
" Ah! I see you found the bedroom. Is it to your liking? " he asked.
" Johnny.... There's..umm, only one bed?" I said turning away as I could feel my cheeks go hot.
" Yeah, it's the best way I can protect you. Your parents insisted. Is that a problem?"
" Nooo. no. I was just checking if everything is as it should be "
Just checking if everything is as it should be. I couldn't have been anymore obvious although, he didn't seem to notice. Or notice anything was wrong with that arrangement!
"Kayla.. " he said, his voice wavering.
" I like you" he said, stepping and stepping closer towards me.
I couldn't move my body. I tried to move but I was just stuck there, shocked. He likes me? Since when?
He moved closer and closer and now he was leaning towards my face, gently closing his eyes. It looked like he was about to kiss me or attempt to! What do I do! I was still paralysed to the spot.
He stopped right at my lip and silently laughed to himself.
"I'm only joking! Can't believe you actually took me seriously! " he laughed and headed to the kitchen.
He was teasing me again! Although some part of me wanted it to be true.
