The Boy With Fire Blazed Eyes

Reminiscence

This part of the story will be told from Johnny's perspective back when both of them are 8 years old. I hope the story makes more sense after this.

I was sitting on a bus bench for shelter, away from the heavy rain. Humans were passing by constantly and suppressing the urge to kill them was hard. After all, I am a vampire.

I was sent here for a reason, the elders told me I had to full fill the prophecy, but, first befriend the girl described in the prophecy and her current family. A girl that was reincarnated just one day before I was.

She was the future to our realm.

The elders told me this was where I was most likely to encounter them. Although the chances are very slight. The elders spied on them for 8 years, and told me they would certainly stop for a boy your age at this time of night.

 Just watch out for a black Audi they said, and the girl's name is Karla.

A plan that her and her family would surely regret.

A black Audi stopped right  in front of me. Finally. After 30 minutes of waiting.

A woman around the age of 30 got out of the car and walked to me.

" What is your name? Where are your parents?" she asked concerned, kneeling slightly.

" I don't have parents. They were killed," I replied looking down at my feet.

" Do you have any close relatives? I can drive you there," she asked.

" My parents were the only family I had," I sobbed.

"Then,  would you like to come stay with me? I'll treat you like my own," she asked trying to hide how shocked she was at my answer.

I looked away and she took my hand, taking me back to the car.

" I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with my daughter, Kayla." she said smiling.

I followed her back to the car, and there she sat. Kayla.

 She had long, blonde hair down to her thighs. A flawless, pale, complexion and eyes as blue as the sea. I was memorized by her beauty.

" Hi, I'm Kayla," she said.

" I'm Johnny" I said trying to hide my eyes.

" You have beautiful eyes...Don't be afraid to show them  just because they're different," she said.

It was love at first sight. No-one has ever told me that about my eyes before. I was always called names and being bullied because of them. Because I was different.

Days passed and I hadn't seen Kayla much but, her parents told me not worry.

I pranced around in my room, feeling very unsettled. Should I go see her? Should I not? 

Full of worry, I decided to check on her.

I knocked on her bedroom white, hallow door.

" Kayla, may I come in?" I asked, worried.

" No! Don't come in. I don't feel right." she replied.

Despite what she said I opened the door. She was by the mirror, looking at her complexion, looking at what seemed to be fangs growing.

She rushed to me and pleaded for my help. She doesn't know why or how they appeared. The elders are going to kill me for this, but, I have to do something.

The only thing I could do was erase her memory, but, this was just a temporary solution.

I sat her down on the bed.

" Listen, Kayla. I am going to make them disappear. But, I need you to look closely into my eyes," I demanded.

The only bad thing about erasing her memory was, that it was stored with me. I have the ability to store memories and the ability to visualize them. That is the only things I have found out about my eyes.

Whilst taking her memory, I gasped.

She's half vampire. Not a full breed.

The elders came through the window.

" We were watching your every move boy. But, we didn't get here in time," said one elder.

" What have you done! You have stopped her from AWAKENING" said another.

" Calm down! She will have to awaken sooner or late" the first elder said.

They vanished from sight, but you could here their laughter.

"She will awaken sometime, my dear boy, whether you like it or not," was the last thing I heard from them.
