Confession

I woke up with a start, realization dawning on me like called water.

Last night, I asked Mathew Roose to go out with me. What the heck, Wishlyn Marry Anderson! What the fuck is wrong with you???!!! No, wait. Nothing’s wrong with me! What I did is the right thing to do. This is my chance to finally get back at Matt and Kenichi for everything they did to me. This time, I’m going to show them that I’m not someone they can fool around as they wish.

Aaahhh, and my throat hurts. I wander if I’m going to catch flu.

Inhale…Exhale… Inhale…Exhale…

Anyway, whether Matt accepts it or not, I’m going to do everything to be his girlfriend. I’m going to have my revenge. Plus, I’m not only doing this for myself, I’m also doing this for WiCom and the twins.

Speaking of which, I wander if I should let the twins know?! In a way, they have the right to know since they’re involved too. Then again, I’m sure that if they find out they’ll make sure Matt leaves me alone; which is not good ‘cause I won’t have my revenge then.

Worst case scenario, they’ll confront Kenichi himself; even though they’ve done everything to avoid him as much as they can. That bastard had put the twins in too much suffering to last a lifetime. They don’t need more.

This is going to be more complicated than I thought.

I gave out a heavy sigh, just as my phone vibrated in the bedside table.

“Hello?!” I croaked.

“Wishing Well!!!” Answered the caller cheerfully. My heart skipped a beat. Speaking of the devil.

“H-Hey, Haru! Why’d you call?! Is there a problem?! I know I don’t, promise!” I answered rashly.

“Hey, yourself. I just called to check on you. Are you okay?!”

“I’m okay! Of course I’m okay. Why wouldn’t be I okay?!” I laughed forcefully, making my throat hurt more. Stupid Wish! Now they’ll know something is wrong.

Inhale…Exhale…Inhale…Exhale…

“What’s going on, Wish?! You don’t seem to be yourself. And what’s wrong with your voice?!” Gah! The frown, the frown! Stupid Wish! Stupid, stupid Wish!

“N-Nothing! I-I just woke up, is all.” Another forced laughing.

“Really, huh?!”

“Really.”

“Well, I don’t believe you.”

“Let’s not talk about it, Haru. It’s nothing, really.”

“I don’t think it’s ‘nothing’, Wish. Now spit it out before I decide to get a vacation across the country.”

That’s a bad idea. A very, very bad idea.

“Don’t be silly, Haru. What about WiCom?! What about Jackson?! You haven’t solved his case yet, right?! Plus, Sora w–”

“Sora will readily agree. Both of us know that.” He cut bluntly. “Now, will you talk or will I start packing?!”

I sighed. I really hate it when Haru starts acting like this. I like him better when he’s being immature.

“Well?!”

“Haru, nothing is wrong!” I said in exasperation.

“Packing it is.” And he cut the call.

Oh, no. Oh, no. This is bad. This is really, really bad!

I immediately dialed Haru’s number in panic. With the tone he was using, I know he’ll really do what he said.
