Party
She tricked me! She tricked me, and I can’t believe I fell for it easily!
She told me that she’s going to a dinner party of one of her friends and she wanted me to go with her. How am I supposed to know that, that party is Mathew’s?!
And to think, I really dressed up for it! Even wore frigin’ heels! Argh!
If she thinks she can do as she pleases with me, then she’s wrong! I’d rather walk back home in this stupid heels, than get in that stupid party!
And that was just what I meant to do. Until I saw a certain someone with her crew heading for the Roose’s gate, laughing gaily with each other; and had a 180o change of heart.
If I had people I want to show this ‘transformation’ more than Matt, it would be Jessica Crow and her brainless minions. Thus, slowly and nervously, I got into the gate and the reception desk.
Now that I have the motivation to be in this stupid party, I just have to be in the invited list. This is an exclusive party, after all. And whether I’ll be in the list or not, I’ll be feeling both happy and disappointed.
When I gave my name to the person in charged, she looked at me surprised and then grinned, “Mr. Roose is expecting you.” I raised a brow at that, but said nothing about it. I just nodded and left.
As if! It’s Mathew Roose we’re talking about here. Hmmm, maybe he is waiting for me to embarrass me again. Well, Mathew Roose, this is not the Wish Anderson you used to know and make fun of. If I’m lucky, I’ll be the one to make fun of you now.

The party was in the garden, and by the time I got in there were already a lot of people present: eating, dancing or trying to catch up over the loud music. A very loud music.
I went to get a drink myself when someone suddenly approached me. He looked very familiar, I just can’t remember who. He was holding two glasses of juice and handed one to me.
“You’re going to get one, right?!” He smiled. Trying to hit on me, eh?!
“Yeah, thanks.” Well, let’s see how this will turn out.
He looked around then said, “Nice party, huh?!” I nodded in response as I took a sip. “It brings back memories. You remember before, Matt would always throw parties like this. Always a blast.”
He’s right, Matt would always throw parties like this in high school and it’s always exclusive too; usually to those in his circle of friends. And although I’m not one of them, I’m always invited too. The reason for it is for them to have someone made fun of.
