Secret of the purple diamonds

Chapter 4: Faraway

We started walking down a brown dirty path.

"Okay so exactly how do we know, exactly where were going" Elijah asked.

"I'm not sure. Let's just follow this path and see where it takes us"

As we were walking we heard sounds near the bushes.

We got closer to each other, and looked around.

"Whose there" Keon asked.

Suddenly a man popped out of the bushes.

"Who are you?"

"My name is Bomani. I am an Egyptian...a warrior" he said

We just starred at him.

"Oh. What strange looking clothes you have on...come I shall take you to my place" he said as he started leaving.

"Should we follow him?" Allison asked.

"I think we should, then we could ask if he knows anything about the purple diamonds"

They agreed with me and we followed Bomani.

When we arrived.

It wasnt even a house, it was more like a tent.

"Here change into these. At least people won't mistaken you for intruders" he said as he handed us clothes.

When we looked at them, they looked weird.

"Do we really have to wear these" Elijah asked.

"Unless you want to get killed" Bomani said.

"Okay, clothes are getting put on" Elijah said.

We started to laugh.

"What exactly are people like you doing here?" He asked.

"We didn't mean to come here. See there was this book and-"

"Book. Where is it?" He asked.

"Right here"

I handed him the book.

"This...wh-where did you get this?" He asked.

"My grandma had it. It was in a old chest"

"This is the lost book the king has been searching for. It has magic for good and evil. No one but the king and queen know how to use it. But..legend has it that even though the princess was a baby, she could use it to" he said.

"Okay, I hate to ruin your story. But we need to find the purple diamonds-" Elijah was interrupted.

"The purple diamonds you say. Why I know where that is. Why don't you come with me, I will take you there" he said.

"You will. So that means its close" Allison said.

"I'm afraid not. It's very far from here. And gets very dangerous the closer you get" he said.

"So how will we get around the dangers?" Keon asked

"With weapons" he said.

He had opened a box he had that had all kinds of weapons in it.

"But we don't know how to use weapons"

"Its not hard, just swing towards an enemy" he said.

I don't think I could bring myself to kill someone.

Bomani had gave Keon a sword.

Elijah had gotten a huge ax, that looked very heavy.

Allison got a crossbow.

And I got a bow and a lot of arrows.

"Now the weapons I gave yall are for emergency only. If you run out or loose them, that's it" he said.

We all understood.

"Now let's go" he said.

We followed him out.

This is going to be a very long journey.
