Secret of the purple diamonds

Chapter 6: Enter the battlefield part 2

As the enemies started coming towards us Bomani had pushed us out the way.

"What's going on"

"Wow Arianna, this is what you get us into" Elijah said

"Shut up for once Elijah and lets figure out how to get away" Keon  said

"There's no escaping" Bomani said.

We all looked at him.

"What do you mean there's no escaping?" Elijah asked

"This is a fight between Kingdoms and supernaturals. Trust me there's no escaping" He said.

"Than we hide" Allison said.

"Cant. the only way out is to fight your way through the field" he said.

I stood there and starred out into the field.

Someone was running towards us again.

Bomani had got infant of us to protect us.

"Run!" He yelled.

We turned and ran the opposite way, but there were people blocking us.

"What will we we do" I thought.

"We have to fight them" Keon said.

"Wha-what are you saying. We can't possibly take them on" 

"She's right. Were gonna get killed" Elijah said.

"Look guys. We've all had little experience with fighting. Elijah, we got into plenty of fights at school without a scratch. Allison you've taken boxing before in middle school right? And Ari, You've taken archery lessons before. As for me, I've taken Karate and Boxing. We can do this" He said

"Keon, that may be true but, these are supernaturals, not humans" Allison said.

"Why are you standing there RUN AWAY!" Bomani yelled. 

When I turned around he was fighting...a lot of them came near him.

"KEON!" Allison yelled.

When I turned back around he ran into the field.

Then Elijah ran with him.

"What do we do?" Allison asked.

I grabbed my necklace and starred at them.

"We fight" 

I grabbed my bow off my back, along with one arrow...and ran into the battle field.

Allison had her crossbow up and ready as she ran in behind me.

I stood in a good enough position, and aimed steadly.

"Aim...Aim..."

I couldn't seem to get myself to shoot the arrow.

As I stood there staring at the enemy, I was trying to shoot.

Visions kept coming to me.

Blood, and people screaming...

"ARI, SHOOT. THERE COMING" Keon yelled.

I couldn't get myself to run or shoot.

The visions had me completely paralyzed.

"SOMEONE HELP HER!" Allison yelled.

"I can't" Elijah said.

As the enemy swung his weapon towards me, I closed my eyes. 

I guess I'm not paralyzed no more.

I had noticed I wasn't feeling any pain.

And when I opened my eyes Bomani was infront of me.

"Phew, I came just in time" he said with a smile.

The guy was on the ground dead.

When I looked around. I had noticed the enemies were retreating, as well as the kingdoms.

"Man...Ari what the heck was wrong with you?" Keon asked.

"I-I don't know. I couldn't bring myself to kill him"

"Well next time, you need to be careful" Bomani said.

i said nothing.

Something has got to be wrong with me.

First a voice in my head speaks to me, then I'm seeing things.

"Okay. we need t get out of here before they come back" He said.

We all nodded as we continued to go east from here.

"How far exactly are we from it?" Allison asked.

"Depending on if we can keep moving without delay, I'd say four maybe five days" he said.

"It must be real important for it to be so far" Keon said.

"Yeah it is. These diamonds are very powerful. The main kingdom that rules over these lands, its king had created them. they were suppose to be hidden and never seen again, and they were made for the princess to have. When the princess was born a purple light had shined upon her. She was born a supernatural" he said.

"But, how is that if the king and queen are human, and Royalty. Shouldn't she be normal?" Keon asked.

"Yes. The King and Queen thought she was cursed. But she wasn't. There was a day where the queen was terribly ill while she was carrying. The king searched everywhere for a special herb known to cure any illness. it was very powerful and rare. it took the king 2 months to find it. when he found it, and gave it to the queen, her body had lighted up. people say she felt better than she did before. So when the princess was born, they figured her power came from the herb the she took" he said.

"That makes sense" Allison said

"What happened to the princess?" Elijah asked.

"Well, Unfortunately there were people who kept coming after the princess. They claim that her power is so powerful, that if the wrong hands got to her, that would mean the end of the world. So the king had diamonds made. It more like two diamond put to form one. He got a powerful wizard to drain all of her power and put it in the diamond, to stop people from trying to take her, Then he hid it in a cave, with traps and spells all inside it. His plan had worked...but unfortunately the princess was kidnapped at the age of one. till this day, we still don't know where she is, or even if she's alive" he finished.

Wow, so the princess is still missing.

I wonder if the lady in my head knows about this.

"So why would you take us there, if the king put it there to keep it safe?" Elijah asked.

Bomani had stopped and looked at him.

"Because, I know your trying to get home. I know your not the bad guys. And your not taking it with you, your just making a wish to get back home" he said.

Then he continued walking.

So he trust us enough to lead us to the diamonds still.

I wonder how it feels for the king and queen to not have seen there daughter in years.

I grabbed my necklace.

"Man dad. I don't really have memory of you or know what you look like. But I do have this necklace, and I'm sure if you were here...You would think this is all crazy" I thought.
