(Fast-Forward: 6 days. Tiana's P.O.V)

I am just about sick of this wedding planning stuff. I had to  take this week off so I could devote my time to arranging flowers, booking Dj's and creating center pieces. Not to mention, this whole Shadow Man business has been breathing down my neck since last week! Mardi Gras is tomorrow, and so far all we have done is try contact Naveen's father. And I do mean TRY!

We never did get in contact with the king to warn him about his son. The Royal Advisors didn't seem to believe us when we said we had "news of the upmost importance."

Louis and Ray promised they would work on a plan to warn Naveen's parents but from the looks of things, we might have more luck doing this on our own.

Now its finally the end of the week and Louis and Ray texted me to meet them at Ray's house ASAP. My heart filled with hope. Maybe the boys came through with a master plan after all.

I stood on the front porch and knocked twice on the door. To my surprise, I heard someone gasp come from inside. "She's here! Ray what are we going to do!" It whispered. The other voice shushed him to silence.

"Were gonna tell her the truth."

"You mean you are going to tell her while I sit and watch."

"Nooo. Your going to man up and tell her with me."

"Tell me what guys." I bellowed loud enough for them to hear from the other side. This time they both gasped. I shook my head and rolled my eyes. "Open the door Ray. Its cold out here."

After a moment or two, the door finally opened to revel the worried faces of Ray and Louis. They looked at each other and then at me. I walked past them both and headed straight to the living room. I've been here plenty of times before so I knew where to go. I threw my coat down on the couch and turned around to face both of them. Putting my hands on my hips, I waited for one them to speak up.

"Uh..." Said Louis.

"Well." Started Ray. "How was your day pretty lady?"

"Tiring, now cut to the chase guys. I'm on my
lunch break and I don't have much time before I have to go-"

"WE LOST NAVEEN!" Yelled out Louis. Ray shot him a shocked look as he face palmed hisself.

"WHAT!" I screamed. I began striding over to the stairs. "YOUR LYING! This isnt funny guys Oh my God!" I ran up the stairs to Ray's room and saw everything thrown every which way. All his clothes were thrown out of the closet, the books from his book shelf littered the floor, and Naveen was no where in site.

"We tried looking for him Tia." Said Ray. "He's...just not here."

I could feel tears beginning to sting my eyes. The situation kept getting worse and worse. Im usually so in control of things, but lately my life has just been slipping through my fingers.

He promised he would stay. He said he would listen to me! He lied to me! And now he was in danger. We could ALL be in danger just because he wanted to play the hero!

"Uhhh Tiana, are you going to get that?"

"Huh?" I asked confused about what he meant, but then I felt my back pocket buzzing. I took a deep breath to calm myself before answering. Looking at the caller ID, I let out a annoyed groan. "Hello Mr. LaBuff." I pushed the hair out of face and tucked it behind my ear.
