"Karma-kun, where are we going?" The purple haired woman asked as she held on to the man's hand.

"You'll see, just wait" He spoke quietly as he kept walking through the forest behind the school.

"Can I try guessing? Is it that clearing--"

"Ritsu no. It's a surprise geez" Karma sighed as he kept on walking.

The two remained silent and they finally arrived at their destination. The clearing with the small waterfall and the flower beds.

"...I knew it" She muttered with a small smile.

The two walked towards the waterfall and lake. They looked at each other and grinned as they jumped in a d started playing in the water like they used to when they were 15.

"Ritsu! Look at this!" Karma said with a smile as he pointed at the waterfall. He then walked through it. Ritsu followed after a few minutes, getting drenched and was surprised to see a hidden cave behind the waterfall.

"What is this place?" She asked walking in circles. That's when she noticed her read headed boyfriend was no longer in sight.

"Karma...?" Ritsu called out but no response.

Then she noticed a light coming from deeper inside the cave. She followed it and smiled when she saw a candle path going deeper and deeper.

She decided to follow it. As she walked barefoot since she had left her shoes on the grass before getting inside the lake, she saw pictures of Karma and her. From their very first date up till yesterday.

The woman finally reached the end of the cave to find it exited at another clearing where she saw her boyfriend standing there, his back towards her.

"Karma? What's going on?" She asked as she approached him.

"Akihiko Ritsu. (pretend that's her name) We have been together for 7 years and through thick and thin you have remained by my side" The red haired man spoke as he turned to face her. "When we left to different universities you still remained contact. You decided to never give up, and at your 21st birthday we reunited here in Japan. I always told you I'd never let you go and I meant it. In fact, I still do" He added. Ritsu's eyes widened as he got down on one knee and took a white box out of his back pocket.

"Which is why I would like to ask you this. Will you continue to remain by my side until our dying breaths and make me the happiest man alive by becoming Akabane Ritsu?" Karma asked. He had a nervous smile on his face. Ritsu was completely speechless as she began to cry happy tears.

"Of course I will Karma. I love you so much!" She cried happily as she jumped on him and hugged him tightly. Karma let out a sigh of relief as he slipped the ring on her finger as the two shared a passionate kiss underneath the bright sunlight.

The wait was worth it.
