Chapter 2: The Walk Turns Bad

I get off the bus and hear my coach once again said, "You played a great game, Destiny. You really did!"

I think that is the fourth time she said that. Wait no, the fifth. Anyways, it doesnt matter because it makes me feel good! I smile and say, "Thanks coach! It really means alot to me. Ok well I have to go. Im going to go see my mom at the hospital. Bye coach. See you around?"

She quickly replys by saying "Of course. Just to let you know, she would and will be proud of you."

I smile and say "Thanks." Before I start my walk I turn around and scream for Hannah.

"What?" She answers.

"Are you coming?"

"Don't you remember? I have that party to go there. I am walking there with Maddie."

Oh.. Now I remember. Yay, now I have to walk alone to the hospital alone. I quickly reply by saying "oh ya. Have fun. See u later?"

She gives a quick "ya" before she walks the other direction I have to walk.

As I turn around to start my walk I can't help but think about my mom. The doctor told me the other day that she wasn't responding to the medication and they still havn't found out what she had. He also said that she probably doesn't have that much time left. Before my game I was with her. I was refusing to go because I wanted to be with her. She said she would rather me be doing something that I loved than sitting next to her in the hospital. I kinda agreed with that but I am still scared that if I leave her one day, that would be my last day with her. We have been through so much with each other. We used to fight ALOT, but I regret that. Now I want to spend every second with her.

"Where do you think your going sweetheart?"

Oh god. Here is some drunk guy that wants my attention. Crap. Maybe it's because I still have my spandex shorts on from the game.

"Away from you," I say.

I then hear a deep chuckle from the guy behind me. It seems like I know him from somewhere.

He then says, "Haha that is very funny."

I start walking faster. My heart is beating so hard, like it is going to beat out of my chest anytime soon. I still think he sounds fimilar. I feel a hand on my arm. Before I can scream I hit the brickwall in a dark alley. A big hand goes over my mouth.

"Remember me baby?"

I knew it. I knew that I knew him from somewhere. His hand falls from my face so I am able to answer. " Get off of me, Austin! I thought I told you that I never wanted to see you again!"

Yes Austin, Austin Kerr my ex-boyfriend.

I once again hear that deep chuckle of his as he answers, "Well, I wanted to finish what I started with you."

I didn't get a chance to answer because he forcefully put his lips onto mine. I can taste the alcohol on him. I try to push him off of me but it doesnt work. Austin is really strong. He is not going to let me go. All the memories of that night start rushing back.

***** FLASHBACK *****

Today is my 6th month anniversity with Austin. He took me to the most expnsive, most romantic restaurant ever! There was one problem though. When Austin picked me up at my house he kissed me. Ya, ya. I know that isn't a bad thing but it didn't feel the same as always. The spark wasn't there anymore. We are now back at his house. He sat me down on the coach and started kissing me. Again I did not feel that spark. He slid his tongue against my bottom lip asking me for entrance. When I refused, he got mad. He bite my bottom lip, hard, and shoved his tongue in my mouth. I pushed him away from me. He looked really mad now. I didn't do anything wrong, right? No, I didn't.

"Austin, I can't do this tonight," I told him.

He now looked pissed. As he pulled me up and dragged me to the bedroom he said, " I don't care what u can and can't do. I want to do this, so, we are doing this."

I took this shot and kicked him, making him collapse on to the floor.

He screamed, " AHH, YOU BITC-"

"DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME A BITCH! I DONT EVER WANT TO SEE YOU EVER AGAIN! WE ARE OVER!" I cut him off. I then ran out of the door.

He was still kissing me. I need to think of something to get him off of me. He stopped kissing me to take off his belt. I took this moment to scream. He looked back up to me and covered my mouth. He told me to shutup.

I heard someone come into the alley and say, "Hey, get off of her!"

The mysterious guy pushed Austin off of me. Since Austin was the only thing holding me up I fell. As I fell I hit my head off of the wall behind me. When I hit the ground all I can hear screaming. I can't tell what they are saying. It is all muffled sounds. Blackness is now filling up my eyesight slowly. Then all of a sudden everything went black.
