Chapter 14: BANG

Emily's P.O.V

How pitiful is Destiny? I mean come on she is freaking crying so hard over a stupid boy and a stupid cousin. Jake is pretty hot though... Maybe I should get him for myself if Austin gets Destiny. Well, I should probably get some sleep since tomorrow is the day. I can't wait. Hopefully it goes the way I want! Haha, of course it will! Why wouldn't it? Silly me!

I get a text and it says

And the fun starts!

Jake's P.O.V

That can't be true. She seems so happy then again, looks can be wrong though. Why would her dad beat her and her family? Why would he take away her innocence? I still havn't heard anything from Destiny yet. I hope she is okay. I mean, she has to be okay. The thing that I can't help but wonder is why someone would want to hurt someone as beautiful as Destiny. She is gorgeous. I defiantly do not deserve to have her in my life. Like at all. She always says that she is lucky to have me but, no that isn't true. If I wouldn't of sensed something wrong in the alley and felt the impulse to save her, I would be dead. I was actually walking towards the bridge. Yeah, yeah but you seem so happy! Yeah that is just bullshit! Don't be fooled by laughs and smiles. I am a pretty good actor if I do say so myself! I mean, the only people that can see through my acting is my cousin Nick and my friend Matt. I have a feeling Destiny is starting to figure this stuff out though. I just, I didn't have a reason to live. I really didn't. Now, I do. I have a really good reason to stay alive. Destiny told me if I wasn't with her, she would be dead. She doesn't deserve that. She deserves to be treated like a princess.

"Hey Jake are you okay?" I turned to see Maddie looking at me. I looked around to see Austin had left.

"Jake!" Maddie screamed.

"I'm fine. I need to get a hold of Destiny."

I reached into my pocket to get my phone.

16 missed calls + 7 text messages

They were all from Destiny. I dialed her number and called.

Ring....

Ring....

Ring...

Come on, answer the phone. I need to hear your voice.

(phone call)

D: Jake! Why didn't you answer my call? I got so worried about you!

J: I am fine. Are you okay?

D: Don't worry about me

J: I need to. Destiny, Austin told me about your dad. I want you to know that I will always be there for you even if we arn't together. Destiny, I'm sorry I left you.

(silence)

J: Destiny... Please answer me, babe.

D: Jake, I know where you are. I will be there to get you. I promise we will see each again. Jake, please stay alive for me. Knowing me I can't live another day with knowing you are in the hands of Austin.

J: Babe, don't worry I'm strong.

D: Forever and always?

J: Forever and always.

"Who the hell are you talking too? Is this your little girlfriend? Why don't you tell her goodbye cause it's time."

Austin said as he walked down the basement steps. He pulled out his gun and pointed it at me.

J: Destiny, I just want to say this. Please, Destiny. You have to stay strong for me. I lo-"

'BANG'

Destiny's P.O.V

Jake! Jake please answer me," I screamed into the phone.

The phone shut off and I dropped it. The screen cracked but I didn't care at this moment. I screamed for Jake. He can't die! I mean, he just can't! I run out the door and down the street. I have to get there as soon as possible. I just have to.

***After run***

I barge into the door and come into some kind of living room. I look around and see Emily. What the hell is she doing here? I was about to ask but was interrupted by an opening of the door.

"You came," the person who I NEVER wanted to see again said.

Okay, well guys. Long time no write. I am so sorry about that. I have been so busy latley! My brother recently got a serious surgery so I have to help out with him. Plus I have school and they give us sooo much homework. I barley have anytime. Please this is kind of a crappy chapter but please forgive me. The next chapter will be much better! I don't know when it will be, but I wanted to let you guys know something. When I see my reads keep going up and up when I'm not even writing and also the votes it feels amazing!
