Sunday morning.
I awoke in my room to the sound of my alarm. How could that be? I was confused. The last thing I remember was being in bed with Jay passing out. Did he bring me home? I thought.
I checked my phone to see if he called me earlier.. There were no calls from anyone.. Did I really just dream all of that? I asked myself as I went to my photos. How could this be? Did he delete the photos and the phone call? I thought.. If felt so real.. Too real.. I lifted up my shirt to make sure I wasn't going crazy. There were no marks.
I called Nae. "Hey, could you come over as soon as possible, I need to talk to you about something." I asked as I was getting ready to take a shower. "Is it about your new phone you got last night? Cause if it is, I'll be over there in 30." She said excitingly. "Yes, that and something else. I'll see you in 30?" I asked turning on the shower. "Be there in 30." Nae said happily and hung up. Okay 30 minutes.. I got enough time. I thought.
15 minutes later, I got out the shower I was about to shave when there was a knock at the door. I dried off my body. I put on my shorts, not even thinking about putting on a shirt. I opened the door expecting Nae, but it was Jay. "Hey babe, what you doing?" he asked leaning against the door frame.
"Having Nae come over so we can catch up since it feels like a life time when I last saw her." I said drying off my head. "Well how long do we have til she's here?" Jay replied. "Knowing her 30 minutes could mean an hour." I said smiling. I invited him inside and headed back to the bathroom to shave my beard.
"So, what are you and Nae going to catch up on?" He asked. "My phone, our lives, and our summer. Just a little checkup on each other." I say smiling. He gives me a look meaning oh sounds fun... Not.. That type of look. "Come on, babe, let's go." I said gesturing him towards the living room...
