Monday morning
(12:30)
I woke up to my phone going off. It read Jay. I answered. "Yes?" I said not even wanting to say hello. "Can we talk please?" he asked. "About?" I say a little irritated. "I really fucked up and I'm really sorry." He says with a shorten breath. "So, you call me at 12:30 in the morning to tell me that you fucked up and that you're really sorry!" I say raising my voice a little. Danny must have gotten up cause I felt him place his hands on my waist. "Dilly, yes I called you this early, because I couldn't stop thinking about what I did wrong." Jay says.
"Well, I'm sorry, Jay but I can't be with someone who I thought truly loved me but was trying to get a girlfriend by using me! That's a real fuckboy move right there!" I said holding back tears. "I got to go, Jay, I have school today and I can't be tired on the first day. I want to see all my friends, goodbye Jay." I say. "Dilly, wait-" Is all I heard when I hung up.
"You know what you need, Dilly?" Danny says as he intertwines his fingers with mine. "And what would that be?" I asked with a small smile. "A dog." he said kissing my forehead. "What kind of dog?" I say with excitement. "A German Shepard." he says as he goes to his car and comes back with a year old purebred German Shepard. "His name is Rixon." he says as he grabs me by my belt loops.
"I love my present, Danny!" I say wrapping my arms around his neck standing on my tiptoes. "Well, I'm glad you love him cause he use to be my dog.. Well he still is my dog. It's hard to explain." He says embarrassed. "Are you saying he's our dog?" I say blushing.
He nods. "Let's get some sleep we have a long day ahead of us today." Danny says as he pulls me to the couch. I pull him into my bedroom. "Let Nae have the couch." I say as I take off my hoodie.
Danny was staring down at my waist. "Hey keep your eyes leveled with my face." I say smiling. "I'm sorry, you're just so short and sexy. I love that about you. May I ask why you don't have a shirt on underneath your hoodie?" Danny says holding my hand. "Cause when I took a shower, I was getting out when Jay came over, so I didn't put one on, and then I had Nae coming over; I just threw a hoodie on because I thought it was just going to be a best friend's night." I explain as I'm looking for a shirt in my closet.
"Don't put on a shirt just because I said something about you being shirtless. I was hoping that I could have helped you out of something tonight." He said as he took off his shirt.
"Can you stand the cold or no?" I asked as I walked to the bathroom. "I'm warm as long as I'm with you, Dilly." he says appearing in the doorway. I smile. "Let's go to bed then." I say as I put his shirt on. "Does this mean we're together?" He asked.
We lay in bed and I kiss his lips softly. "Yes, it does." I say cuddling really close to him feeling safe.
