Ashton bit his lip as he scanned his hand against the train door, sighing slightly. Another day of his life gone, just because he had to use the train.
"Do you need any help sir?"
Ashton looked up. A station attendant with a short blonde quiff and blue eyes looked back at him. He had the normal navy station uniform on. A badge sat on his chest that read Luke.
Ashton shook his head. "I'm twenty one, you don't need to call me sir," He snapped.
Luke watched as Ashton stepped onto the train. He watched his hair shorten and silver threads appear in his golden locks.
Luke watched the wild glow in Ashton's eyes disappear, his eyes suddenly seeming full of wisdom and pain.
Then, Luke watched as the train pulled away from the platform, sighing slightly. If he could share his eternal youth, he would, but there was no turning back now. He couldn't give up the job even if he tried.
His job gave him time to think and regret, and Luke would never forget what he did to Ashton.
