"Why did you bring me here Luke? This just gives me less time to live."
"This trip doesn't count because I'm with you," Luke said, helping Ashton off the train and biting his lip. "I have some things I need to tell you before you board that final train."
"You mean that final train in three days? Bit late now don't you think?" Ashton croaked, moving slowly after Luke. Luke slowed down, walking next to Ashton.
Luke ignored Ashton's last remark. "Do you think you'd be able to climb a ladder?" He asked, opening a gate for Ashton.
"Do I look like I can climb a ladder?" Ashton snapped, moving through the gate towards a tree in the middle of the yard. "This place? Really?"
"It's our place Ashton."
"Was our place. Now it's just an old, rotting treehouse."
Luke sighed quietly. "Do you want to hear what I have to say or not?" He asked.
Ashton nodded slowly, holding up his arms.
Luke chuckled quietly, shaking his head in amusement. "Some things never change."
