You were sitting on your new bean bag in the "classroom", watching a cooking show that came on. You lost the remote earlier and got tired of looking, so you just left it be. You started getting hungry seeing all of the meals the chefs were preparing, so you decided to get something for yourself. When you got to the kitchen, nobody was there. You looked for about a minute before doing it on your own.

There wasn't anything in the fridge that seemed very appetizing, so you tried thinking about where you could find something. You remembered Al said something about his brother, Oliver, keeping his special cupcake ingredients in the basement. Maybe it'd be the same here.

You began speed-walking towards the basement door. When you reached it, you grabbed the handle and froze. Luci told you to never go in the basement because you could get hurt. How much can I get hurt if I'm just getting food? Still, you were hesitant about opening the door. Was there really something bad down there? And if so, why would they keep it unlocked? You were more curious now than hungry. You wanted to know what was down there and why they wouldn't let you see it. You took a deep breath, looked over both your shoulders and turned the knob. You pulled it towards you and made an opening just big enough for you to fit in. You left it open just slightly so that you didn't accidentally lock yourself down there.

Turning around, you were faced with darkness and wood. The whole area looked old and like it belonged to a completely different house. The steps were also wooden and looked ready to snap under the slightest of pressure. It surprised you greatly when no sound was made standing on them.

You slowly descended into the lower level and began to smell something strange. You recognized it, but couldn't place it. You also heard someone talking. It was too muffled to make out and you couldn't see any door the person could be behind. You got to the last step and looked over at the room you were in. It was still pitch black, but your eyes were adjusting. Walking further into the open space, you noticed light coming from under a door near the back of the stairs. You made your way over to it and put your head on the ground to try and see inside. Someone started yelling from inside and you jumped back, hitting your head on the cement ground. You let out a whine and the yelling stopped. You covered your mouth and ran to find a hiding spot.

Luciano opened the door and you could hear Lutz ask him something. He scanned the area and didn't see anything, so he walked back in. You heard someone else scream. Not like what Luciano was doing, these were screams of pain. You knew they were from past experiences with your parents.

The screaming would stop and start again with Luci's yelling adding to it at random moments. You never could tell what he was saying, but you didn't care - you just wanted to see what was happening in that room. Your curiosity was getting the better of you and you decided to go back over to the door and listen.

"Now, where is Braginski hiding out?"

"I already told you, I don't know anything!"

Another scream.

"Let's try that again. Where iS BRAGINSKI?!"

More screaming was heard before Lutz said, "Let's leave him here tonight. Maybe he'll know in the morning."

You heard Luciano grunt and their footsteps started coming closer again. You scrambled back to your spot and watched them walk up the steps, leaving the basement. You waited to hear the click before running up to the door. The light was turned out again, but quiet moans could be heard. You reached up for the handle and hoped it was unlocked.

It was. You slowly opened it to show you what was inside. Then you heard it squeak. Whoever was in the room with you did too, out of fright.

"Hello?"

"Who is that?!"

You started grabbing at the walls, trying to find the light switch, "That's not a nice way to introduce yourself."

"Is this some kind of joke? Well, it ain't funny!"

"Why would this be a joke?"

"You sound like a fucking child!! Show yourself you little bitch!"

"Those aren't nice words, mister."

Finally, you found the switch and flicked it. You heard the man behind you say 'What the hell?' before you turned around.

Your eyes went wide and you began to scream. In front of you was a man, maybe fifteen years old, with dark brown hair, red eyes, and no shirt. You would've passed it off as nothing if he weren't tied to a chair and didn't have blood all over his body. You continued screaming and started running away, towards the stairs.

The door opened and Gil was standing there with Flavio and Kuro right behind him. He picked you up, but you continued screaming, while images of what you just saw flashed through your mind, seemingly stuck to your eyes. You barely noticed as Kuro ran down the steps and Flavio and Gil tried to comfort you.

Luciano and Lutz came running towards you guys to see what was happening as Kuro came back up. He told them how the door downstairs was open and the lights were on. Luci started saying how he knew he heard someone outside and Lutz awkwardly stood next to him, not trying to help with anything.

After another couple minutes, you were just crying. Gil was still holding you, but you had moved to the living room. Everyone was seated and waiting for you to calm down. You did after a few more minutes, and Luci asked Gil if you were old enough now. He said no, but you knew they'd still tell you.

Al began, "(Y/n)...what you saw down there...it's kinda what we do. We are fighting with some other people right now - the people who attacked you - and the boy you saw has information on them that we need to win."

You nodded after he finished his short speech. You knew they were still withholding a bunch of information from you, but you didn't really mind. You knew you wouldn't be able to handle it after what just happened.

"Do you still want to live here with us?"
