You thought about it. About your old life, your new one, Gil, Al, Flavio, Luciano, Lutz, Kuro, Liz, Rod, everyone, but your mind kept going back to the boy in the basement. Luciano had done that to him. Lutz stood there and watched. Gil, Kuro, and Flavio probably knew about it, too. Al was related to the people who tried to kidnap you.
You started to think about all the good things that happened. Gil found you and treated you as his daughter, Al and Flavio have done almost everything to keep you happy, Luciano was teaching you how to cook and draw, Lutz saved you from Al's family, and Kuro, well Kuro didn't actually do too much for you yet. Either way, they were your family and you had to accept what you saw.
You felt your eyes start to tear up and you snapped out of your thoughts. Gil wiped one away as it slid down your cheek. You turned around to hug him and you mumbled into his shirt that you wanted to stay. They couldn't hear what you said, but understood it. Gil hugged you back and you stayed like that for a while. When you let go, you decided to ask some questions.
"Who is he?"
A look of confusion came over everyone else in the room, but then Al figured it out and spoke up.
"That was Gatis. He works for Ivan."
"Who's Ivan?"
"He's the guy who had the trench coat and the pipe."
"Oh...Why's he here?"
Luciano took over, "We needed to know where Ivan is hiding and why he tried to get you."
You thought for another moment. "Can I have food?"
Al chuckled and rubbed your head. "Sure, kid. What do ya want?"
"I don't know."
After eating and getting ready for bed, you were walking around looking for Gil so that he could tuck you in. You turned the corner and heard Luciano talking again. He sounded like he was talking to himself, but he was probably talking to Gil. You snuck up to the room they were in and stood in the doorway.
"I can't believe she's just going to accept this and not even ask why we'd torture him! I mean, what child isn't nosey!"
Gil started signing something to him.
"I know I was a nosey child! That's where I'm getting this information from!"
Gil signed something else and Luciano said, "Whatever. I'm going to bed." He turned to head out and finally noticed your presence. "(Y/n)! Cosa stai facendo?"
"Niente." You walked over to Gil and tugged on his shirt even though he saw you standing there. "Tuck me in."
He smiled, stood, and picked you up. He signed one last thing to Luciano before leaving - you recognized it as 'good night'. He usually says it to you before he turns your light off.
You got to your room and Gil put you on the bed. You laid down and waited for him to cover you up. He brought the covers up and kissed your head. He got back up and signed 'good night' before turning your lights off and going to bed himself.
You closed you eyes to go to sleep. You laid there thinking of the events from earlier, and the last thing you saw before drifting off was an image of Gatis.
