A/n: Welcome back! I feel so so so bad for my absence (Since August), but I have recently gotten interested in Hetalia again and my sister actually told me I should finish my fanfics. Even though it's not that time of year anymore , this is set near Halloween. As I've said before: Tell me if there are any mistakes in the story, and signing will be written in something like "(___)".

Please forgive me :')

----------

Two days later you learned that Matt had raided Al's house once you and Gil left looking for you. You still had no idea why they were all looking for you, but Luciano says it has to do with your parents. He wouldn't answer any more questions about them so it's all you know.

Besides that, you've had weapons training added to your and Lutz's gym class. He mostly just has you learn how to throw better and become stronger so you can start using knives and other weapons.  Accuracy is also a big part of it.

Gil and Al are excited about Halloween this year since they'll be able to take you out for it this time. The rest of the Axis isn't excited because to them it's just another day, and they are always dressed like it's Halloween. Flavio isn't really either, but agreed to make your costume. Al said it was Gil's favourite and his favourite after Fourth of July. You've never gone trick-or-treating before so they had to explain it to you, but after they did you decided to be a pirate. You told Flavio everything you needed to make it look good, including a sword, eye patch, belt, hat, and boots. He said he'd have it done in a few days.

You went over to Al when you couldn't find Gil and asked, "How long until Halloween?"

He smiled and answered, "Five days."

"Do you think Flavio will finish the costume by then?"

"Probably," He swiped through his phone. "He takes his work pretty seriously."

"Where's Gil?"

"Out."

"But where?"

"I don't know."

"Why don't you know?"

"He didn't tell me."

"Why?"

He stood up and walked away from you.

The next day you walked up to Gil and asked again how long it was until Halloween. He answered "(Four days)". You went up to Flavio's room to see how far on the costume he was. He wasn't in there, but you saw he had the easier parts made like the eye patch, hat, and part of the costume itself.

This continued for the next two-and-a-half days.

Finally on Halloween day you and Gil went to visit Al since he decorated and lived closer to more houses. You wanted to put on your costume, but they said you'd spill something on it if you didn't wait until it was time to leave. You were all doing things to get ready for the day, like finishing the decorations and deciding how much candy should be left out for the trick-or-treaters. Al even had little superhero capes for the dogs.

After 4 hours of playing with dogs and exploring the house the doorbell rang. You walked over to the hallway and saw Al open the door to reveal 3 children who all yelled, "Trick or treat!" You ran behind him and recognized them as the kids at the ice cream shop. Peter was dressed like a vampire, Wendy was a witch, and Sebastian was cat...thing.

You peeked out from behind Al's legs and loudly said, "Hi!"

They looked down at you and Peter answered, "(Y/n)? I thought it was just some angry guy who lived here."

"I wouldn't be calling the man who's giving you free candy angry," Al said glaring at him. "But because (Y/N)'s here, I'll give you some."

Wendy said, "Thank you, sir."

"See you later, (Y/n)!" Sebastian said before running back down the driveway and into the neighbour's.

Peter and Wendy waved before following their friend. Al shut the door and glanced at you.

"It looks like it's time to go. Go get Gil and get ready."

You squealed and ran up to get Gil to help you get in your costume. After another couple minutes, you ran back down the steps and twirled around in front of Al to show him your dress. He complimented it and you laughed. You heard Gil walk down and saw he was carrying a pillowcase in his hands. He handed it to you and you made your way to the door.

"Come on, let's go!"

"Let me grab the bucket." He grabbed the candy bucket from the kitchen and ushered us all outside. He locked the door and set it up on the porch with a sign that said, "TAKE 1".

You reached for Gil's hand and led him over to the neighbour's house ready to get your treats.

----------

An hour passed by and you were still as excited as you were leaving the house. You had caught up with the micronations about 30 minutes in after they had picked up Raivis and their other friends Thomas and Leopold, so now Al and Gil were basically in charge of a group of 7 children. Raivis was dressed as a rabbit, Thomas was dressed like a ghost, and Leopold was apparently a paintbrush.

(Thomas is Ladonia and Leopold is Kugelmugel. These were the names I found most often.)

When it got to 9 o'clock, you were already a long ways from home, so Gil decided the 3 of you should head back. You convinced him to let you go to the last few houses on the street even though you'd be able to get some on your way. When you got to the second to last house, you noticed it wasn't decorated. Sebastian still proceeded to knock on the door exclaiming, "No decorations doesn't mean no candy."

The door creaked open revealing a man with a small blond ponytail, purple eyes, and a red flannel. He didn't look too happy. He saw your #squad and said, "Go away." before shutting the door. You noticed he kept his eyes on you as he spoke and it sent shivers down your spine.

Peter yelled something about him being a "no-good crook" and ran off to the final house. Everyone started filing out, but you stayed back a moment. You didn't know what it was, but something was very off about the man inside and you were very curious about it. You started walking towards where you saw Thomas leading Al, but something rough grabbed onto your arm and pulled you back. You screamed, but it mingled in with the sounds of Halloween.

It seemed like more of a trick than a treat.

I posted this on my page(?) before, but I'll restate it: "I just wanted to say that I've been learning about child development in my psychology class, and how I portrayed you, the child, reader, person doesn't really match what a typical 3-year-old does, so I'm just going to go with the fact the character might be 4 or 5 years old, but it could just be a smart 3-year-old. Anyway, this wasn't really important, but I wanted to say it since my friend was complaining about it."
