Max opened her eyes and had herself starring at the ceiling. It's the night of the elimination. She shifted her position at the other side of the bed and thought of any possible situation that could cancel the elimination night. What if there is an earthquake? No, natural disasters can't happen at this time. Maybe I could set the kitchen on fire?  What if I fake a faint? Or I could fake a seizure?

"Maxine, dear. Get up from bed." Casey called her out.

"I don't want to."

"It's the elimination night! We have to prepare ourselves."

"The more I don't want to get up. It just means that I'll be packing up my things and go home."

Casey rushed towards her side. "You can't say that. You have to think positive these situations. C'mon, get up." She grabbed Max arms and held her up.

"All right I'm up. You're right. I should face this one" Max agreed.

"Besides, it's Ian. He's the type of man who never judge a person immediatley. He's actually very understanding."

Max thought of Ian last night and their encounter. There were no cameramen around and there were not seen by the cameras around and yet he was just being himself like the time they talked to each other. He is genuine and kind.

"I guess he is." Max said.

"After the first week, we have come to our very first elimination night." Michael Anderson has read the lines in the monitor. "8 ladies were given roses leaving two girls who didn't received any."

Maxine was nervous but decided to remain compose. She knew what was going to happen. When she saw Ian coming in with his gray suit, walking rather handsomely and classy, she gave out a long exhale. He stood beside Michael as he held out a single red rose.

"May the two ladies stand in front." Michael called out both Rose and Maxine. Both of them stepped forward and went in front of the ladies. They cross their arms with the other as they waited for Ian's decision. They watch Ian stepped forward and went towards them.

"It's only the first week and I've only come to know you all for quite a while." Ian said, twirling the rose around. "I gave everyone a rose except you two because I felt that there are things that were not clear between us. And I wanted to know you more."

"That is why..." Ian looked at Rose and smiled. "I'm giving this rose to you, Rose." Rose's reaction made her gasp and covered her mouth. Max could only nod. She expected it anyway.

"Oh my god." Rose exhaled as she accepted the rose.

"And-" Ian took out a rose behind the suit and gave one to Max. Max could only look at the rose and back to Ian. "I'm giving this one to you too, Max. I just think that the first week wasn't enough to have ourselves know each other better and I'm willing to have our chances."

Max opened her mouth but no words came out. She looked at Michael, who was smiling at her. She also looked at the crew, who were also smiling. She looked at Casey who gave her a thumb up.

Looking at Ian who gave her smile, she could only gave him a large hug which caught everyone in the room surprised. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Max said, repeatedly.

Ian gave out a chuckle. "Okay. No problem."

"I told you he doesn't judge easily." Casey said as she laid down on the bed beside Max. Max has been looking at the rose, smiling.

"Yeah."

"Okay, enough looking at the rose. It has been a long night and we need our beauty sleep." Casey covered her eyes with her eye mask and went to sleep.

He is really genuine and kind. Max thought before she smelled the rose and went to sleep with a smile on her face.
