Chapter 3:
The Sunday morning sunshine was hitting my face. I opened my eyes slowly to check the time. 8:45am I groaned and threw the sheets over my face. My head hurt probably from all the alcohol I had yesterday. The door swung open and Sam was walking towards me with a glass of what appeared to be orange juice. She sat down next to me and handed me the drink. I stood up slowly grabbing the cup. I sipped slowly.
Mmmm that tasted good. Sam had slept over the night before. Thank the lord. "Thank you Sammie." She handed me two Advils and I popped them into my mouth drinking another mouthful of juice.
"No problem. By the way Nick and all his friends are down stairs playing video games." She said annoyed and rolling her eyes.
Nicks friends weren't the best people out there...they were kind of slobs, pigs, hideous creatures! Ok...I'm judging I always judge to much and to harshly.
"That's ok I guess we'll just stay up here and avoid them."
"Nikki the food is downstairs. We need food to live!" She yelled. Ugh! I rubbed my temples trying to soothe my head ache. She was right. We needed food.
"I'll go downstairs quickly and grab a load of stuff to survive." I joked and she giggled.
I got up slowly and went to the bathroom to make myself look at least presentable. I left my pjs on it was just a shirt that said dance and black sweatpants. My hair was up in a ponytail and I cleaned the make-up off my face. I walked downstairs hoping I wasn't noticed.
"Nikki!" To late...Nick just loved to embarrass me in front of his friends. He liked to look superior. The alpha male. Pfft!
I turned around to face all the arrogant jocks. My eyes instantly fell on hazel ones. He was here. In my house. I looked like crap. This is poop.
"What Nick?" I tried to stay calm and looked at my brother.
"You mind getting us chips and soda?"
"What am I your maid? Get it yourself lazy ass." All the guys laughed and Nick just looked annoyed and they continued playing there stupid game.
I walked into the kitchen and started grabbing everything me and Sam liked. The kitchen door swung opened and in seconds I was staring at hazel eyes.
"Hi." He smirked. He looked so cute when he did that.
"Hey." At least I didn't stutter that time.
"I completely forgot you lived here."
"Um you knew I was Nick's sister I obviously live here."
"Yeah sorry...um anyways I was sent here to get chips and sodas." I pointed towards the chips and got the soda out for him. He grabbed the snacks and before leaving he said and I quote:
"It was fun dancing with you. You were really sexy."
I was left there standing utterly shocked. Was I imagining things? No I heard him loud and clear. I grabbed the snacks snapping out of the trance and ran quickly up to my room.
*Monday morning*
"I don't want to get up." I groaned. My mom was persistent and she kept shaking me to get up.
"Sweetie your going to be late."
"Alright. I'll get up just stop shaking me."
She left my room and I started getting up at my own speed.
When I came back to my room I grabbed my IPhone and bag and started heading out the door when my phone started buzzing. It was a text from a random number:
