Chapter 5

Chapter five:

I swear the last few minutes of school is always the longest minutes ever. I was currently in Alegbra 2 staring at the clock over Mr. Barry's head. Two more minutes! Today was Friday, my study date with Adrian was today. I'm beyond nerous, I don't even know why...

Ring Ring!

YES!!!!!!!

I ran out of that awful classroom and bumped into a hard chest. I looked up slowly and saw those beautiful hazel eyes. Oh no.

"Watch where your going." with that he walked off leaving me utterly shocked. Was he still mad about what happened in the parking lot? Great I thought me and him were at least going to be friends. Guess not.

*Back at home*

It was currently 6:30pm and I was shockingly calm and doing my make up in my bathroom. At seven was when I was meeting Adrian at the public park to study. 

I was finished with my make up, so I grabbed my white cardigan and my bag filled with books and ran down stairs not before being stopped by the demon who haunts this house. Nick.

"Get out of my way Nick." I tried to shove him but ended up falling on my ass. Nick was now laughing like a crazy person that just escape an asylum. 

"Your not even worth picking on anymore. Your seriously a disgrace to this family." his words hurt but I didn't let him know that so I kept my game face on. I stood up grabbed my phone and keys and slammed the front door with all my might. I was beyond furious, Nick knew how sensitive I was. JERK!

I parked my car in the parks parking lot and walked towards the hill where Adrian said to meet him. I quickly typed him a text to inform him I was here.

Me: I'm here.

Him: You look beautiful.

He was here? I looked around but saw no one. But that wasn't what I was focusing on, all I can focus on was the butterflys he gave me with just a simple text.

Me: Where are you?

Him: You looked everywhere except behind you. Turn around.

I got up and saw him standing there with all his gorgeous glory. 

"Hey. Ready to study." he sat down patting the spot next to him motioning me to sit.

"Yes I am." see no stuttering.

An hour had passed and we had done all our Chemistry homework.

"Listen Nikki, I know probably for you this was just studying but I kind of thought of it as a date."

Did he just say date?

"Uh, me too." might as well be honest.

"Your beyond gorgeous Nicole. I'd like to take you out on a real date"

He said date again! Butterflies were attacking my stomach. He laid his hands on both my cheeks and stared into my caramel eyes. I nodded because I couldn't speak I was beyond shocked.

"Good." he smiled his full blown smile. WOW. "Pick you up tomorow at seven then?"

I nodded again, he kissed my cheek and walked me hand in hand to my car.
