As we laid next to each other comfortably, my head resting on Jack's chest and his arm draped over me, listening to each other's heartbeat and breathing, I realized how late it was. I needed to film our Monday video and get it uploaded today.

"Jack," I said softly, tracing an unknown pattern on his broad and bare chest.

"Hmm," he hummed, signaling that he was listening as his eyes focused on my fingers in motion.

"Could you hand me my phone please?" I asked sweetly, peering up at him with puppy eyes.

"Are you sure you don't want to just reach over me with your chest in my face, or straddle me to get it?" His remark made my eyes widen and a gasp to be heard from my mouth. He laughed gently, tucking a piece of my hair behind my ear before reaching over to grant my wish.

I took it with a smug look on my face and unlocked it before resting my hand on his chest. I texted Madi, telling her that we needed to do a video, although I'd rather not move from where I was currently, and placed it on the opposite side of me.

It was six o'clock and Jack still hasn't been home. I'll have to go home with him so I can see my baby Ray. Maybe I could eat dinner with them.

"Do you think I could eat dinner with you guys?" I mumbled, listening intently to his steady and calm heartbeat.

"Why? I'm sure your mom would want you to eat with her."

"I just wanted to see my baby Ray," I smiled, peering up at him innocently. He shook his head and held a fake angered face, instantly gripping my hips and pulling me on top of him, a small squeal escaping my mouth. I rested my chin on his chest as I attempted to lay flat across his long body, my feet only reaching down to the bottom of his knees.

"Wrong answer, baby." His hands ran teasingly up my back and back down again, causing shivers to run down my spine. I let out an involuntary breath that really sounded like a moan, my hand instantly covering my mouth. His chest shook as he laughed, his head digging back into the pillow.

"Oh baby, I wouldn't do that, yet." He winked, a tingling sensation running down my body as the words rolled off his tongue smoothly and hit me directly in the face. My mouth, unable to form words, opened and closed as my mind raced with different comebacks, none of them seeming to fit with the situation.

"Don't worry babe, you don't have to say anything. Just cuddle me," he hummed, his arms wrapping around my waist and squeezing tight. I hummed back contently, resting my head down comfortably.

It was now seven o'clock and Jack was still here, but we weren't watching Netflix and cuddling, we were getting ready to leave for dinner at his. I swapped my pair of shorts for a pair of black jeans and my small tank top for a black shirt.

All black, baby.

"Come on!" Jack's voice called from downstairs. He already asked my mom for permission, although I told him she would let me go because he lives next door and that it was not a big deal.

"Jack, I need to look my best for Mrs. Katherine," I stuck my nose up snobbishly, flipping my hair slightly before side stepping his lean body to get to the front door.

"Well, then you should have tried a little harder, babe." He smiled half jokingly and half genuinely, sending a wink my way. Once the words left his mouth he instantly froze, completely forgetting my oblivious mother standing beside him. My eyes went wide and my breath nearly hitched in my throat as two pairs of eyes landed on my mother's.

"Come on you guys! I'm not that dumb!" She let out a loud laugh that filled the room, causing us to awkwardly laugh back. My eyes averted to Jack, his already set on me, and let out a relived breath.
