Alex's P.O.V.
Fuck I hated maths. It was my worst subject. Maybe Tom could help.
I stood up quickly and rushed upstairs to Tom's room.
"Tom! I need math help," I said as I opened his door.
My older brother was on the ground, laying in a puddle of his own vomit again.
"Tom? Are you drunk again? Mom's gonna be pissed."
I walked over and poked him with my foot.
"Tom?"
I poked him again. Then it hit me.
Tom wasn't breathing.
