Hospital For Souls (Jalex)

Jack's P.O.V.

Everyone left me alone after that- everyone except Alex that is.

He stuck by my side the whole day, even when I sat in my room during free time.

"You okay, Jacky?"

I nodded fighting back tears.

Alex gently placed a hand on my leg.

"You sure?"

I shook my head no and let the tears fall.

He pulled me into a hug. "I'm so sorry, Jacky."

I traced letters on his back with a shaky hand.

"Not... not my... fault?"

I nodded, still crying.

He hugged me tighter. "It doesn't matter whether it's my fault or not. It hurts me that he hurt you like that over something you can't control."

He pulled my head up so our foreheads and noses touched.

"It love you, Jacky. I'll always be here for you, no matter what."

I rubbed my eyes. Crying makes me really tired.

"You tired?"

I nodded, stifling a silent yawn.

"I'll leave. I'll tell the nurse you're sleeping."

Stay, I signed.

"Stay?"

I nodded.

"Okay, Jacky."

I laid down on my side, and Alex laid down facing me.

"Do you want me to sing?"

I nodded. His lullabies always kept the nightmares away.

"Wendy run away with me. I know it sounds crazy don't you see what you do to me? I wanna be your lost boy..."

I smiled and let sleep take over.
