Dr. Jardine walked out of Jack's room.
"Can I see him now?" I was so worried he'd seriously hurt himself.
"Yes. He's on oxygen mixed with sedative so he'll probably be very tired."
"Thank you." I hugged her quickly and sprinted into Jack's room.
"Jacky," I cried as I threw my arms around him in a hug. "I was so worried. Is everything okay?"
Anxiety, he signed slowly.
"You okay, Jacky? You look tired."
He yawned, the oxygen mask slipping a little.
"Sleep Jacky. You're safe here with me."
He patted the bed next to him and scooted over.
"You want me in bed with you? Jeez Jack. You could have asked ages ago and I would have said yes."
He grinned sleepily and I climbed into bed with him.
Fatty, he signed, grinning like an idiot.
"You offend me, Jack," I scoffed.
He snuggled closer and threw an arm over me before falling asleep.
God, he was so cute it was killing me.
I catiously lifted up his oxygen mask and kissed him softly.
What he didn't know wouldn't kill him, right?
